24-Hour Giveaway: Two Bottles of All Small & Mighty

September 16, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

ALL-96oz-Stainlifter

As you can imagine, laundry is a never-ending chore around here with five active kids. all® Small & Mighty® laundry detergent is one of my preferred brands, and I love the convenience the new 96-load bottle. Of course it doesn’t last anywhere close to six months around here, but I appreciate the ease of dispensing it and its stain-fighting capabilities!

Two Deal Seeking Mom readers will each win a coupon for a free bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x Concentrate (up to $6.50)! These would be great to hold onto until the next BOGO sale at CVS so that you can get TWO free bottles of detergent!

To enter, leave me a comment with your best money-saving laundry tip.

Here’s a little tip from me to you — I can generally find a better price on the smaller bottles of All Small & Mighty, so I save my larger 96-load bottle and refill it with them!

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

Methods of entry:

1. Leave a comment. What’s your best money-saving laundry tip? How do you make your detergent last longer or find deals on your favorite detergent for less?

(2) Coupon for a FREE bottle of all® Small & Mighty® 3x concentrate (up to $6.50)

at my house, I LOVE to do laundry. it’s my only favorite chore. I watch for the detergent on sale (watching your site has helped a lot!) and stock up when detergent’s on sale. I also use baking soda in the wash machine, especially with towels, to keep the smells and stains in check.

My favorite coupon deal is at Target on Tide. I have gotten the medium size bottles for 3 bucks with a MF and Target coupon and I have gotten stain release for free. I simply love couponing! I love ALL, Tide , gain etc.. It all gets the clothes clean and smelling fresh.

Pretreat stains with Shout or Greased Lightening. Wash in cold on the gentle cycle for clothes that aren’t “dirty”. Get them out of the dryer while still a little damp and hang. Helps not to get wrinkles while they sit.

I use cold water, pre-treat most stains with dish soap(excellent for grease stains), and hang dry all of our good clothes. My washer and dryer, which are not brand new, have energy saving settings, so I’m sure to use those every time! All of these things save money by conserving energy and preserving clothing!

I use a little less detergent that recommended – my clothes are still fresh and clean. I also love to use coupons!

I like to use white vinegar to take the smell out of rags used for dusting or other household chores. Plus, it works to remove the stench from my husband’s srunning clothes.

I hang my sheets/blankets outside when I wash them, saves dryer use. I also try to do laundry every other day & all in a row, to take advantage fo the “hot” dryer.

It’s usually cheaper to buy two smaller bottles rather than one large.

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
