    I make funfetti cake every year and decorate the top with strawberries and blueberries in the flag pattern. When I was growing up, my great-aunt Jane would make flag cake from scratch every year for our summer gatherings. I find that the funfetti cake mix is just as yummy as Aunt Jane’s cake was!

    We cook out on the grill and I make my low fat mini cheesecakes. After it’s fireworks.

    We normally grill and have cold watermelon. (It is normally pot luck style with the family)
