E.L.F.: 75% Savings On Eyes Lips Face Makeup

August 17, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 39 Comments

E.L.F. has a fantastic deal going on right now – you can take 75% off any purchase of their Studio Line products priced at just $3 each. Plus, orders over $75 are eligible for free shipping!

The $75 free shipping minimum is calculated pre-discount, so here’s how you can get $78 worth of makeup for just $6.51 (plus tax):

  • Visit the Eyes Lips Face website and add 26 items from the Studio Line to your cart (or any combination of items from the Studio Line that makes your total above $75).
  • Enter promo code WWYB75S at checkout to deduct $58.50 from your total.
  • Check the box under “special customer benefit” to indicate that you do not wish to receive a subscription to Marie Claire magazine.
  • Pay just $16.50 at checkout with FREE shipping.
  • When you receive your order confirmation, submit for your $9.99 rebate on the magazine.

This will bring your final total to just $6.51 (plus tax) out of pocket!!! What a bargain on an already inexpensive but high quality makeup line!

Thanks, Pocket Your Dollars!

Is anyone else having problems getting the items to “stick” in their shopping cart?

Hrm…it’s not giving me free shipping after I enter the promo code.
    I’m sad. :(

    Subtotal $78.00

    Promo – 75% Off Studio items! – $58.50
    (remove)

    Shipping $6.95

    Total $26.45

Well, bummer – I wonder if they changed it?

Sandi, I had that problem too, but they were all there when I clicked on the shopping cart.

Yes mine will not add to cart either and when I click on the cart it is empty even though there is 1 item in cart. I want some of this because there is some awesome stuff here but frustrated that they wont stick in cart.

They are not letting me do the free shipping with the discount. There is free shipping until I add the 75% off coupon :( my order total is ~25 after the 75%.

Yes, exact same scenario as Kate’s… $26.45 out of pocket!! This rebate seems a little tricky also. I wonder if it will truly be a rebate check for $10, or $10 off a future order? This was not what I thought I was spending my money on; and I really shouldn’t have spent $26.45 on so many items that are not “needed”. ;( Wish I would’ve just gone to bed and saved the money!

So, I saw the problem! The deal was from a few days ago and was originally done with $20 free shipping, and it looks like people got that to work with tax.

the problem with the free shipping not working with the 75% off promo code may be because e.l.f. only allows you to use one promo per order and they probably consider the free shipping another promotional offer

The free s/h isn’t working anymore. However, you can also get 4% back with an Ebates account. The $10 rebate is off your next order, not cash back.

Wait, I might be wrong about the rebate. Looks like if you mail in the form you might get cash instead.

I saw this a few days ago on Hip 2 Save. She said to put in $81.00 worth of product before entering the code. Maybe that will help with the free shipping?

Mine did not take off the shipping either. I have emailed them. The $10 coupon is not the same as the rebate. Back where you click that you DO NOT want the magazine subscription, click on the rebate DETAILS. This takes you to directions for the rebate. I could not get the page to print directly from that spot, so I copied and pasted it into a word doc and printed. Even without free shipping, if the $9.99 rebate comes through, it will be $16.46 for 26 fun items. That’s not bad!!

I put in the promo code but it only took off $10. Anyone have the same problem??

    Subtotal $45.00

    Promo – 75% Off Studio items! – $10.00 (remove)

    Shipping $6.95

    Total $41.95

The most it will take off for me is $10. When I enter the coupon, it no longer gives me the free shipping & it says 75% off studio; however, it won’t take off any more than $10 no matter how much I get.

Not sure how- I remember getting an email that had my friend’s name on it from ELF a couple weeks ago – I am getting *so* much spam from ELF. And I have never ordered from them. And to my personal and private email address, not my junk mail email address.

They changed the offer. I chatted with someone on the site…
[Angie] Hello, I am using promo code WWYB75S which takes 75% off of studio items, I have $78 worth of studio items in my cart and I’m only getting $10 off of my order??
[Esther] We apologize for any confusion regarding this coupon code. This was a limited coupon code which was offered to a limited amount of our customers and not meant to be shared. Please feel free to use the coupon code, but we have now limited the discount to a maximum of $10.

Thank you, Angie! I was debating whether to contact them. I had a feeling this is what happened. They really need to reword it or just state code is invalid and give new code.

I have never ordered from E.L.F. since I know others that had problems with items being in stock and E.L.F. not letting them know until they filled the rest of the order which messed up the promos. I was willing to take a chance on this deal especially when I saw the Studio Brush line.

Thanks Tara for trying to share the deal with us.

    HUH? Subtotal $71.95.
    :-(

i asked elf and they imposed a $10 maximum on the coupon…
I dont think its fair to impose that after others got a larger discount but what can we do.
Also no free shipping so at this point not worth it anymore

hi – just wanted to pass on that this is a FANTASTIC site right now! almost all the regular nail polish and makeup is $1.00!
Coupon code: carolina will get you 50% off any order up to $15.

and for the person that got spam mail – that was because when you order with elf, they will give you a free gift for giving them three email addresses of friends/family. so blame your friends!
