E.L.F.: 75% Savings On Eyes Lips Face Makeup

August 17, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski 39 Comments

E.L.F. has a fantastic deal going on right now – you can take 75% off any purchase of their Studio Line products priced at just $3 each. Plus, orders over $75 are eligible for free shipping!

The $75 free shipping minimum is calculated pre-discount, so here’s how you can get $78 worth of makeup for just $6.51 (plus tax):

  • Visit the Eyes Lips Face website and add 26 items from the Studio Line to your cart (or any combination of items from the Studio Line that makes your total above $75).
  • Enter promo code WWYB75S at checkout to deduct $58.50 from your total.
  • Check the box under “special customer benefit” to indicate that you do not wish to receive a subscription to Marie Claire magazine.
  • Pay just $16.50 at checkout with FREE shipping.
  • When you receive your order confirmation, submit for your $9.99 rebate on the magazine.

This will bring your final total to just $6.51 (plus tax) out of pocket!!! What a bargain on an already inexpensive but high quality makeup line!

Thanks, Pocket Your Dollars!

Pocket Your Dollars posted yesterday that the deal has changed. Now the coupon code just takes $10 off. https://www.pocketyourdollars.com/2009/08/75-off-e-l-f-cosmetics/

I ordered from them once in the past and NEVER AGAIN! Their customer service is a joke. I tried to cancel an order minutes after placing it because I forwarded my “great deal” onto a friend who sent me links to hundreds of blogs and chats about how crappy the e.l.f. company is. The customer service person said that the order was cancelled and I asked her for proof with an email to me stating that fact. She said that it would show up on the order status eventually. Well, it did show up as cancelled, but my card still got charged over $80 anyway. When I went back to check it again it showed up as delivered! I called again and said – it has over a month, I had cancelled it but got charged anyway and never got the items either. Their answer was NO RETURNS and that there was no one on staff that could authorize anykind of returns since they have a strict no return policy. I argued that I was not “returning” that I never got anything to return and that the order had been cancelled. Then they wanted me to provide proof that it had been cancelled. My only proof was gone because I never printed the screen that said “cancelled” in the order status. They took my info. to have some ficticious person call me back to resolve teh complaint – which, of course, never happened. I ended up getting the huge box of junk in the mail a few days later. Broken items with at least 11 things missing completely from the order. I ended up having to get my bank involved. They said they would refund me and then go after e.l.f. for the money and all I had to do was pay to send it back with a registered mail receipt/signature confirmation and provide a copy to the bank. It cost me almost $10 for postage and hours of headaches for nothing. SOOOOOO not worth the excitement of getting so much for so “cheap.”

Well, I was all geeked, spent about 20 minutes picking out stuff. Was planning of using much of what I was going to order for stocking stuffers for friends and family before I realized you didn’t get 75% off of the entire order.

Emptied my cart, still wanted to try their mineral makeup (looking for a cheaper alternative to Bare Minerals), so I got a few things & used the “CAROLINA” code to get 50% off of the first $15. It worked, but it only pretty much covered the $6.95 shipping plus a couple of quarters. So, I’m basically getting about $29 worth of makeup for $21.45. Since I ordered over $20, I believe I’m still eligible for the $9.99 rebate on the magazine that I don’t want.
We’ll see how the rebate turns out, I’ll try to come back with an update!

Never ordered from elf, so I figured I’d give them a shot. The grocery stores around here carry a limited amout of elf product, and I’ve never had a complaint on what I’ve used (brushed and nail polish). I was also excited that I didn’t have to use my credit card to order; you can use Paypal or Google checkout instead!

This offer isn’t working for me either. Will just take $10 off; S/H remains. I tried this a couple of days ago as well and it said the coupon code was invalid.
