Raise your hand if you love The Home Depot!
Thought so – I mean, what’s not to love? I get inspired to do some sort of household project just walking through their doors.
Here’s another bit of inspiration on a more serious note.
Through Feb. 28, The Home Depot is offering a commemorative “Dream” gift card celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. When consumers purchase the collector’s edition “Dream” gift card, The Home Depot will donate five percent of all sales to the Center for Civil and Human Rights, up to $1 million dollars. The donation will assist in the building of a permanent exhibition home for his personal writings and papers.
The collection of original documents by Dr. King includes more than 10,000 items, among them 7,000 handwritten notes spanning from 1946 to 1968. They include drafts of his “I Have a Dream” speech, his “Letter from a Birmingham Jail,” other theological writings and his Nobel Peace Prize addresses. The King Papers will be part of the exhibition offering of The Center for Civil and Human Rights. The Dream cards can be purchased at any store, or online at homedepot.com/dream.
Talk about amazing and inspiring, huh?

I have a “new” house I bought 2 years ago. It needs a lot of things done to it. I have a list of projects as long as my arm. But I work out of my home, so I spend a lot of time here. I am inspired to fix it up for the whole family, but mostly just for me, since I pretty much spend 24/7 here.
My mother inspires me. She can do anything. If something quits working, she takes it apart and fixes it. The woman is amazing. She decorates, she builds things, she is incredible. I admire her so much.
Thanks for participating in the Bloggy Giveaway!

I am a very lucky woman. I get to stay home with my kids and be a housewife. On days like today when I am tired and sick, what inspires me is my husband. Although he has the same winter cold and got the same interupted night’s sleep, he got up and went to work. He works VERY hard for our family and so that I can stay home. He inspires me to get up and clean the house and make a warm home for him to come home to.

I know this may sound cheesy, but my momma totally inspires me. I may have thought she was just crazy growing up, but now as an adult, I am inspired by her everyday! The way she calmly takes a look at life, to all the things she accomplished on a daily basis, never complaining, and taking everything “with a grain of salt” -as she would say!
