Clorox continues to introduce products to make cleaning and disinfecting easier, and the ToiletWand is no exception. Cleaning toilets is definitely high on my list of chores that I detest. It’s an icky job and one that I have to do frequently with the number of people in our household.
The Clorox ToiletWand took much of the ick factor out of this chore. I give it high ratings for its ease of use and convenient and clever storage. The holder keeps the wand and refills right next to the toilet in an attractive manner, and the refills pop off easily when you’re done cleaning so you never have to touch them with your hands. My toilets were sparkling and clean in minutes.
So what’s the downside? At $10 for the starter kit, it’s a little on the pricey side. This is only enough for six toilet cleanings, so you’re definitely going to get more bang for your buck with a standard toilet brush and cleaner.

I use a mixture of vinegar and water to clean the floors. I don’t care for the smell, but I like the idea of not using harsh chemicals. jenmizener at gmail dot com

my best bathroom cleaning tip is the magic erasers to get the hairspray speckles, the red algae marks around the drains, and to clean bathtub grime off those older finishes on tubs (we have the old cast iron with whatever white, porous glaze is on them and my magic erasers get stuff even bleach and comet can’t get out). I LOOOOVE my magic erasers! :)

Best bathroom cleaning tip: the more convenient you make it for yourself, the more likely you are to do it often and quickly. Ex: my mom usually kept a lot of cleaning supplies in her utility room and then carried them around in a caddy to each bathroom as she cleaned it. Instead, I keep a full stock of each item under the sink of every bathroom, so whenever I’m in there, each item – toilet cleaner, Clorox wipes, Windex, etc. – is readily available without any effort on my part. It may mean I have four bottles of Windex going at any given time in my house, but it works for me!

My bathroom tip is good old fashion bleach. I puy a paper towel over the drain and pour a thin coat of bleach into the sink and tub. It only takes a small amount sitting in the tib or sink to have it sparkling white in no time. i carefully rinse it out after a minute or two. Usually no need to scrub!

Magic Erasers and Clorox Tablets. Thanks!
Crystal
i keep all my supplies in each bathroom, so it is convenient to clean at any time instead of walking around the house with everything. I absolutely use the toilet wand!!! I will pay full price for that… I can’t live without it!

Magic Erasers work nicely for me. I really don’t enjoy cleaning the bathroom, though…
Would like to try this product, too!

I use Tilex and a toothbrush to clean the shower. It gets in the cracks and i can use the toothbrush to clean everything out of the small spaces. Works like a charm. I always take a shower so the walls are already wet. Spray it down get dressed and its ready for me to just scrub it right off with the toothbrush.
I can’t wait to try this new product to clean the toliet.

My best bathroom cleaning tip: Install a Scrubbing Bubbles automatic shower cleaner! I used to hate having to scrub the hard water buildup on my shower doors but ever since I’ve installed it and used it everyday after a shower, my shower doors are sparkling clean! Especially since there’s a ton of coupons for it floating around, the amount of time and energy saved is why it’s my favorite (secret) cleaning technique.

I was hoping to read some good bathroom cleaning tips, seems like not many people are too fond of this particular chore. I know its not a tip, but I moved from a 4 bed/2bath house to a 2bed/1bath apt… cut down on my bathroom cleaning by 50% :)
