Clorox continues to introduce products to make cleaning and disinfecting easier, and the ToiletWand is no exception. Cleaning toilets is definitely high on my list of chores that I detest. It’s an icky job and one that I have to do frequently with the number of people in our household.
The Clorox ToiletWand took much of the ick factor out of this chore. I give it high ratings for its ease of use and convenient and clever storage. The holder keeps the wand and refills right next to the toilet in an attractive manner, and the refills pop off easily when you’re done cleaning so you never have to touch them with your hands. My toilets were sparkling and clean in minutes.
So what’s the downside? At $10 for the starter kit, it’s a little on the pricey side. This is only enough for six toilet cleanings, so you’re definitely going to get more bang for your buck with a standard toilet brush and cleaner.

bathroom tpi…if it smells good, then that’s half the battle! Glade spray does wonders, at least for my soul!

When going for away on a trip spray Clorox into the toilet bowls and when you get back they will be sparkling.

I make cleaning the bathroom a family affair. My kids are young enough to think cleaning is still fun. My five year old loves “skating” on the floor with dishtowels ans my two year old likes to help mommy scrub the tub. I use baking soda and viniger for the tub (works pretty well) so its safe for the kids to be in the bathroom while we clean.

Wipe down the counter everyday after getting ready. Prevents make-up, toothpaste, etc., build-up so your dedicated day of cleaning isn’t spent scrubbing gunk off the counter.

I stick my nose under my shirt and dive in. Really, cleaning up my own bathroom is no big deal. But any bathroom my 8 year old son has been in…..biohazard time.

I always wear gloves! i hate how the cleaners make my hands smell. i also hate the feeling of my hands if they are wet for so long!! my hubby works in the medical field so i always have an endless supply of gloves on hand. oh and another tip ill throw out there is i always wipe my mirrors down last. cant tell ya how many times i started with my sink counter and cleaner/water splashed up on the mirror so id end up having to clean the mirror a 2nd time!! dont know why it didnt click sooner! :) hope this helps!

I think Scubbing Bubbles is the BEST bathroom cleaner that was ever invented.. I use it everywhere, including the toilet.. I just spray away, then swish with the brush it its all good..
My bathroom cleaning tip is.. Spray the tub down with Scrubbing bubbles… (vent fan on).. let it sit a minute.. start scrubbing lightly or wiping cuz thats all you need…and rinse it all off then I jump in & have my own shower since Im half wet by now anyways. ;-)

Man I wish I had a good tip. I just hate cleaning the bathrooms. Grin and bare it is about my only tip.

I agree with scrubbing bubbles and magic eraser. I also LOVE odorban. You can mix it with bleach and it helps the smell. Use the mixture for whipping down anything white and for mopping the floor and if you have a hubby like mine, spraying good around the bottom of toilet.
Valerie
My best tip is to pay one of the kids to do it!

We could use a new wand! My tip for keeping the bathrooms clean is assigning each of your daughters to clean 1 bathroom each!

Ok it sounds stupid but I buy the dollar shampoo to clean my shower and I clean it right before I take a shower. I hate the thought of cleaning the bathroom then wearing those clothes for the rest of the day. And with three small kids I hate wondering if all the cleaner was washed away before they shower. It works!
