Clorox continues to introduce products to make cleaning and disinfecting easier, and the ToiletWand is no exception. Cleaning toilets is definitely high on my list of chores that I detest. It’s an icky job and one that I have to do frequently with the number of people in our household.
The Clorox ToiletWand took much of the ick factor out of this chore. I give it high ratings for its ease of use and convenient and clever storage. The holder keeps the wand and refills right next to the toilet in an attractive manner, and the refills pop off easily when you’re done cleaning so you never have to touch them with your hands. My toilets were sparkling and clean in minutes.
So what’s the downside? At $10 for the starter kit, it’s a little on the pricey side. This is only enough for six toilet cleanings, so you’re definitely going to get more bang for your buck with a standard toilet brush and cleaner.

SO my trick isn’t fancy but I leave my cleaners and some wipes in the bathroom so I can do a quick sweep of things without having to run all over the house gathering things.

I am gleaning for tips – I am a horrible housekeeper and have no tips of my own. I’ve gotten some great ideas here – especially the baby wipes for the floor, baking soda for the tub, and bleach for the mildew. Maybe I’ll be inspired to actually USE them one of these days. I’d love to win the wand and maybe get some help.

I still love the magic eraser .. best bathroom cleaner ever!!!!!!!!!
kim
I find Mr. Clean Magic Erasers (or the dollar store variety) are great for zapping soap scum and cleaning shower doors. There is no harsh chemical smell to overpower when you’re in a tight spot like the shower stall, and they’re easy on the hands too.

My favorite bathroom tips…
1) Old Makeup Brush for husband’s shave droppings LOL (best to sweep it into the sink when dry) 2) Clorox or Lysol Wipes for quick cleanup of counters and 3) Clorox Bleach pen for Tile Grout

I’m another one with the cleaning wipes in the bathroom. It makes cleaning so much easier! I don’t think that anything make a bathtub shine like scrubbing bubbles!

Wait for the cleaning people to come?
This product may make it more tolerable to clean toilets-ugh.

My favorite bathroom-cleaning timesaver is to keep some Clorox wipes under the sink. I wipe down the counter and sink each night as I brush my teeth. It keeps my bathroom sink from becoming “gross” and takes just a few seconds each day!
