Back-to-School Giveaway: Custom Circle of Sentiments Necklace

August 19, 2009 by Deal Seeking Mom

Circle of Sentiments Initial Necklace

Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

There’s no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I’ve teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!

Isn’t this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn’t fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.

I’m so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It’s quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie’s Signature Collection, valued at $65!

To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.

Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments’ orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

+++++++++++++++

Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

My most rewarding parenting moment so far is leading my oldest son to Christ. We are still praying for our other 2 children as they begin a journey of faith.

By the way, that necklace IS gorgeous!!

I have most enjoyed observing the bond my kids have with each other, laughing together as a family, and witnessing them grow their faith in Christ.

I have 2 wonderful little boys. Each day I find something rewarding in what they do….take my hand just because they want to hold it, ask for a lullaby at night, give me a hug just because or tell me they love me out of the blue! I am truly blessed to be a mom.

I am not a mom yet, but someday I am planning on it. I have a friend that has 4 kids and I am really close with her oldest. His father isn’t in the picture much and I am the only 1 person in his life that has been there from the actual beginning (I witnessed his birth) and I take him to do lots of fun things and he stays at my house on the weekends probably once a month. He loves it so much here, he cries when he has to go home!! Even though he’s not mine…I love him like he is ;)

The most rewarding thing for me is a hug and a kiss. Knowing that my little ones go to bed every night feeling loved is the most important thing to me!

The first time my daughter said “I love you” has been one of the most rewarding moments thus far.

I think one of the best moments was when my daughter about age 2 grabbed my hand and told me that I was her best-friend forever and ever. It is a moment I’ll never forget.

My most rewarding moment was the day I became a mom and held my son in my arms for the first time and just minutes later I watched my husband very gently (and very nervously) hold our son.

The most rewarding thing for me has been seeing my children achieve their goals. They were both preemies and have had struggles since they have been born. Thank you!

My most rewarding moment as a mother was watching my daughters building a home for a needy family while we were on a mission trip to Mexico.

The most rewarding part about being a mom is being trusted to take care of precious life. It is seeing the world, minute by minute, through innocent eyes.

I think the most rewarding thing is when you get those sweet, special moments. The umprompted I love yous & hugs are the best.

I have to say when my lil boy hugs and kisses his lil sis is one of the most precious things. But the best thing is when my son comes up to me or my husband at anytime and tells us he loves us is magical.
    He has the biggest heart.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 reasonably well-adjusted humans (well, 6 if you count my kid-at-heart husband) and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT. Read more.
