Tune in all week for hot Back-To-School Giveaways. We’ve got some great prizes for the kids, with a couple of special prizes to pamper mom!!! Look for a new 48-hour giveaway each morning and each afternoon, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!
There’s no doubt that being a mom is a hard job – the hardest job there is! And while the rewards are absolutely worth it, I’ve teamed up with Jamie from Circle of Sentiments to offer you something a little more tangible this week!
Isn’t this necklace that she created for me gorgeous? I opted to go with the first initials for all of my kids since some of the longer names wouldn’t fit on the small size discs that I selected. I was a little skeptical of how the finished product would turn out with so many discs, but I absolutely LOVE it.
I’m so impressed with the quality and craftmanship, and when I wore my necklace to Blogher, and I received dozens of compliments on it while I was there. It’s quickly become one of my favorite accessories, and I always wear it when I travel as a reminder of my kiddos.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a custom necklace with up to two discs from Jamie’s Signature Collection, valued at $65!
To enter, simply leave a comment and tell me about your most rewarding moment as a mother.
Jamie is also offering Deal Seeking Mom readers 20% off their Circle of Sentiments’ orders using coupon code dsm at checkout. Be sure to check out all of her beautiful collections to take advantage of this offer!

The rewards of being a Mom are never sweeter than when the kids do something special for you. Last year, my daughters hatched a plan and gave me Mother’s Day cards with one here and one on the phone
from her dorm room at college. Since neither drove and it was Sun. already, I was totally surprised. They’d coordinated to have the one at home get the one away at schools card out of the mailbox so they could “share my joy”. It makes me tear up now to think about their thoughtfulness.

Sitting in the kiddie pool today with both of my babies was pretty sweet.

I’m a subscriber to your blog via bloglines & I’m a newish mom. My little guy is 17 months old & nothing melts my heart more than his hugs, which are usually accompanied with a “squee!” sound.

When I see my daughters making great choices in friends and not falling for peer pressure. All the hard work was work was worth it!

This is beautiful!
One of the most rewarding things for me, is teaching my children…not academics necessarily…but right from wrong, morals, ethics, christianity, etc. To see them blossom as growing little people is amazing!

I would love a necklace for my daughter- she is always wearing mine!

I absolutely love your necklace and hope I can win one for myself. One of the most rewarding things as a mom is seeing my 5 yr old son really care for his 21 mos. old sister. He always shares his snacks with her..gives her licks of the lollypops and ice cream without complaint. He gives her bites of his apples and bars. He also helps her climb onto high places (I actually don’t like this but I like that he is helping her), and that he reports to me all of the injustices he sees being done to her at the park or at daycare…even though they may not be real injustices. I am loving the bond that they are forming and can see how their relationship will grow in the future.

I am so very blessed with a 17 month old little girl named Emory. My husband and I didn’t find out we were expecting until I was 7 1/2 month along. Surprise! Surprise! On March 30, 2008 we had a beautiful baby girl. She is a blessing even when we least expected her. Emory filled my eyes with hope, tears and laughter every single day. I just want to boast about how great is being a momma even in these most difficult times of our crazy world. Thank you for sharing your money smartness with our family.

I am the mom of adult children. My most rewarding thing has been seeing them find God’s will for their lives, and then working to accomplish it.

It is so rewarding to watch my daughter helping others. We practice stewardship in many ways and I am so proud to see it rub off on her!

My daughter is only 10 months old but having her in bed with me in the morning, being in no rush, while it’s still dawning outside, and her snuggled up against me is the single most precious and rewarding moment of my day… and I am blessed to be able to experience it every morning!

I am the mom of three beautiful children. My oldest has special needs. The most rewarding thing for me as a mom was when my oldest won a gold medal in her first Special Olympics tournament!! She was so proud of herself and her smile lighted up a room.

I love this necklace and would love to win it! It’s really symbolic and I love things that have special meaning to them. A nice keepsake! Thanks! Kim

I have to admit being a mom has been one of the hardest thing ever. My first 3 kids were really close and my oldest spoke later than most kids his age. It was really hard to do all the things i did but never hear a thank you or I love you. I will never forget the first time I heard it. It made me realize how rewarding being a mom is by just hearing those 3 little words. They are the best!
Rebecca
I have been loooking at these necklaces for a long time! I love them! Being a mom is such a rewarding job:)
Tami
It’s all the little things about being a Mom that are rewarding. Something as simple as “you are the best Mom ever”.
carolyn
my most rewarding moment was the first time my daughter said “i love you” to me.

I agree there are so many rewarding moments in being a mother!

Most rewarding – hearing others tell you how much of a Lady your daughter is becoming, how well mannered, and how she “knows” her own style! Pretty cool for a 12 year old!
Emily
and I already love getting emails although i stalk the website so often! ;)
