Tune in all week for even more hot Back-To-School Giveaways, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

I don’t know about you, but at my house, doing laundry for five kids is a never ending chore, and I’m always looking for ways to make it easier. So when Clorox sent me their Complete the Cycle kit, I was especially excited to read their tips and try out the very cool FlipFold.

Have you always wanted perfectly folded shirts and tees like those department store displays? Now you can organize your very own drawers and closets with the FlipFold. Just follow the simple instructions included in the box, and you’ll be flipping and folding your way to neater drawers and less wrinkles in no time.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Complete the Cycle prize package that includes:

  • A laminated copy of the Complete the Cycle Laundry Regimen Guide
  • 50-oz. bottle of Gain Laundry Detergent
  • 34-oz. bottle of Downy Ultra
  • 22-oz. bottle of Clorox 2 Ultra
  • A Clorox Bleach Pen
  • Coupon for 1 Free bottle of Clorox Bleach
  • FlipFold Ultimate Folding Tool
  • Laundry basket

I make laundry less of a burden by telling myself I can read blogs until I’m done – LOL. It’s amazing how I look forward to laundry these days. Usually I feel guilty taking time out to read blogs, but I can’t feel guilty when this is my reward for doing laundry.

I use only half a sheet of fabric softener in the dryer – makes the box last longer, and I’ve never noticed a difference. Also, I wash all clothes in cold water (even without the special detergent) – the only exceptions are underwear and towels.

to make folding laundry a little more fun, i fold it while i’m watching my favorite evening tv shows. my hands do the work while my mind is occupied.

I guess my best tip for saving time on laundry would be to not let it pile up….I know, I know, easier said than done. :-)

    Thank you.

I hang up the kids clothes right away, instead of stacking them on the dressers. Otherwise the clean clothes end up on the floor & they get mixed in with dirty ones.

I use 1/2 of the recommended amount of detergent, and cut my dryer sheets in half. Still works just as well!

I do laundry every Monday and Friday so it becomes less overwhelming!

My favorite tip is just to keep on top of it. I try to do one load every night while hubby is watching TV and kids are doing homework. I know many people who let it all pile up and then feel overwhelmed.
    Thanks so much!

How do I make it easier? I have 3 baskets the boys put their laundry in. White, colors, and jeans. Each boy must wash and fold one basket each week. It;s amazing how the clothes consumption has gone down since they started helping with the laundry.

One way to save money on laundry is to make sure you’re actually measuring out detergent. MOst people don’t and it can be very wasteful and expensive!

We make it easier by doing it together! Hubby takes it down to the washer and brings it up, then we sort everything and put it away rather than leaving it to one person.

Whenever someone goes down to the basement, they start a load. When they come back up, they bring a clean load up with them. (make your trip worthwhile)

I use about half the detergent that the bottle says – clothes come out perfectly clean.

I love my high effeciency washer. It has a really strong spin cycle and my clothes take a lot less time in the dryer saving a lot of money on electricity.
