I fold items straight out of the dryer and into a clean laundry basket. I put them in different piles in the laundry basket (my shirts, my pants, the hubby’s shirts and pants) to put away quickly and easily, and I have a seperate suede-lined basket I keep on top of the dryer for undies and socks. We’ll fill it until it’s full, then put it all away at once because we have plenty. It helps to break up the folding instead of doing it all at once. Additionally, the hubby and I work at the same place where there’s a uniform. We each have 3 uniforms. We’ll wear them all, then do a load of nothing but, and they all go in a seperate drawer in our dresser. Then, that’s once or twice a week I have to wash uniforms.

Also, a great tip for getting out rust stains? A mix of cream of tarter with a bit of water. Make a paste, apply, and scrub out after it dries. Sometimes it takes out blood, too!

My favorite laundry tip – go through all the pockets – it really is worth it rather than have a green crayon go through the wash and dryer and end up melted onto a whole load of clothes :(

I have started getting help from the kids.
They are old enough to sort the clothes into baskets & take the dry clothes out of the dryer.
Even this small amount of help saves me precious minutes.

i save time by having 2 little baskets in everyones closets.. that way as soon as they take offf their clothes they can atleast sort in by whites and colors. i save money by not using a dryer, but air drying instead

My favorite laundry tip is to let someone else do it! Seriously, I’m the one who does the laundry and my best tip is to not let it pile up. I usually do a load a day and then it’s not so much of a chore. I also use coupons to buy my detergent and stock up when there’s a really good sale.

My best laundry tips : other than getting an HE front loader (which is amazing).

I do more loads on cold than needed (saves electricity). Mix each load so there are different sized items (some socks, some blouses, some pants, some pillowcases, etc). This helps them all get more clean.

Keep the dryer vent clean and free of lint – use a long brush; that way I can keep it on a lower heat setting but still get effective drying.

I’d love to win this; laundry is the only chore I don’t despise.

Everytime there is anything going into the laundry I make sure its put in a seperate basket for whites, darks, and towels… Makes it a whole lot simpler when it comes to starting a load.

My favorite laundry tip is to add white vinegar to the wash when I need to get out strong odors.

I like to keep my laundry regimented and done often enough to prevent overload. Please accept my entry. Thank you.

Get a decent washer. I did and found out my old washer used a ton of extra water to do the same job. Made a huge difference

I only use half the detergent the package recommends. It works just as well and lasts twice as long that way.

I use less detergent for less dirty clothes.
