Tune in all week for even more hot Back-To-School Giveaways, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

I don’t know about you, but at my house, doing laundry for five kids is a never ending chore, and I’m always looking for ways to make it easier. So when Clorox sent me their Complete the Cycle kit, I was especially excited to read their tips and try out the very cool FlipFold.

Have you always wanted perfectly folded shirts and tees like those department store displays? Now you can organize your very own drawers and closets with the FlipFold. Just follow the simple instructions included in the box, and you’ll be flipping and folding your way to neater drawers and less wrinkles in no time.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Complete the Cycle prize package that includes:

  • A laminated copy of the Complete the Cycle Laundry Regimen Guide
  • 50-oz. bottle of Gain Laundry Detergent
  • 34-oz. bottle of Downy Ultra
  • 22-oz. bottle of Clorox 2 Ultra
  • A Clorox Bleach Pen
  • Coupon for 1 Free bottle of Clorox Bleach
  • FlipFold Ultimate Folding Tool
  • Laundry basket

I always use cold water which saves on the utility bills. I also clean out the lint accumulated in the dryer lint compartment after every load and clean the lint catcher with soap and water once a week which increases the efficiency of the dryer.

My favorite laundry weapon is Hydrogen Peroxide! My hubby is a veterinarian, so blood turns up on his clothing all the time…NOTHING works as good as HP for getting it out…plus it is really cheap. Awesome giveaway!!

I keep a stain stick in the bedroom. When I notice a stain on an article of clothing that I am removing, I treat it right then and there. It’s not such a big deal for the treated stain to sit in the laundry hamper for a few days.

I put a timer on so that I know when the washer and dryer are finished and I fold right away. Less ironing is needed.

I hate to say, but I don’ thave a tip. We can barely get the clean clothes from the washer to the dryer. That would be a start, have a timer on both!!

I save time by using my washing machine as the laundry basket-when it’s full I run a load.

I make sure I have full loads before I do laundry. We travel quite a bit and I always take my own detergent and softener in pre-measured baggies to keep from buying the expensive stuff in laundromats.

It’s not necessarily a laundry tip, but to make laundry go easier, I make sure that we buy different brand of athletic socks for every family member. That way there’s no guessing whose socks are whose when they go through the laundry.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
