Tune in all week for even more hot Back-To-School Giveaways, and be sure to check out all of the current giveaways for other great prizes!

I don’t know about you, but at my house, doing laundry for five kids is a never ending chore, and I’m always looking for ways to make it easier. So when Clorox sent me their Complete the Cycle kit, I was especially excited to read their tips and try out the very cool FlipFold.

Have you always wanted perfectly folded shirts and tees like those department store displays? Now you can organize your very own drawers and closets with the FlipFold. Just follow the simple instructions included in the box, and you’ll be flipping and folding your way to neater drawers and less wrinkles in no time.

One lucky Deal Seeking Mom reader will win a Complete the Cycle prize package that includes:

  • A laminated copy of the Complete the Cycle Laundry Regimen Guide
  • 50-oz. bottle of Gain Laundry Detergent
  • 34-oz. bottle of Downy Ultra
  • 22-oz. bottle of Clorox 2 Ultra
  • A Clorox Bleach Pen
  • Coupon for 1 Free bottle of Clorox Bleach
  • FlipFold Ultimate Folding Tool
  • Laundry basket

I like to sort my clothes into separate baskets as they get dirty (whites, colors, etc). It’s much quicker to do it with one item as you throw it in the hamper than to sort several loads later.

I have seperate hampers for each color. When one gets full, I throw it in the wash. That way we are never overwhelmed!

I use cold water. I also have a sorter in the laundry room, which is on the same level as my bedroom, so I just get undress in there and throw my clothes in the sorter.

I save money by pretreating stains with Shout or Oxi-clean (for stubborn set in stains), use about 1/2 of the suggested amount of laundry detergent (cleans just as well and still smells great), only wash full loads, and in cold water. Clean the lint catcher in the dryer after each load. Save time by letting the children match and fold their own socks, and put away their laundry.

Don’t use the bleach dispenser on your washer, add bleach before adding clothes (I learned too late).

I use cold water to save money. Also to save time I put away clothes as soon as its done so I won’t get piled up and also it save ironing time if I get it out of the dryer right when its done.

For decades, I have removed my laundry from the dryer halfway through and hung everything. It all dries nicely, and the money saved on energy bills is amazing.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...
