I save time on laundry by just doing it in stages. If I fit it between the other chores, it’s like it’s not even work.

Laundry baskets in each bedroom reduce the hunting for dirty laundry. Always wash on cold and with a full (but not overloaded) load.
Nicole
I do just one load a day so I don’t get too overwhelmed.

Wait until there is about 4 to 6 inches of water in the washing machine to add the clothes. It prevents overloading and harming the washing machine! Thank you for the contest!

I’m washing more cold-water cycles, and drying on the clothesline.

I save money on laundry by cutting my Bounce towels in half to go twice as far. When I use fabric softener I add just a little less. Both ways I do save a little. Thank you for the great giveaway!

I think Tide works great and I’m a Shout user on my husband’s work clothes.

My current best tip for saving time is to get the kids to help you sort and put away their own laundry.

For t-shirts and stuff that isn’t stained badly I use the cold and short cycle, I have a front loader that automatically senses the load size and adjust the water level so I don’t have to worry about load size. Other than that now matter what I do it’s a never ending story my 10 year old plays football, my 4 year old “practices” right along side of him so for those stains and my husbands ring-around-the-collar I love to use the spray and wash stain stick, works wonders!

Mu only laundry tip is not to let it pile up if possible. It’s easier to do one load a day rather than 10 loads in one day.

I hang dry all my dress clothes so I don’t have to use the dryer and I use Oxi-Clean on his clothes to help with stains due to grease and that way I’m not scrubbing all day long.

I use to wait till the weekends to do laundry, working a full time job, I was just so tired when I finally made it home. Now, we do at least one load every other day. Makes it so much easier, plus your not spending your day off doing laundry all day !!

To save time- do a load of laundry a day- it brakes it up and doesn’t bog you down. That’s what I have to do or I’d spend an entire day inside w/ it!
Stacy
I save time by doing laundry only on one day of the week and getting it done all at the same time.
