I save time doing laundry by doing at least a load a day. That way I do not get to the end of the week and have piles upon piles of laundry to do. It helps me not under so much stress to get everything done.

I buy lots of detergent when I get a bargain and I try to do less more often.

I line-dry most of my laundry to save money. I enjoy it, and my clothes dry more quickly than when I put them in the dryer.

I soak clothes that are really dirty or stained rather than try to scrub. Simply soak overnight – really works.

I either do 1 load a day or I wait until the weekend and do it then. We have the timesaver money plan on our electric, so it is cheaper when we do things on the weekend.

To save money, I cut the dryer sheets (that I buy on sale with coupons!) into thirds, still does the job well; never buy detergent without a sale and a coupon; and hang items out to dry when possible. To save time, everyone does their own laundry…18, 13, and 10 yr old. This has been a God-send over the last seven years, my kids are awesome. All I have to do is mine and the kitchen towels.
I love this blog!!!!!

I don’t wait for there to be multiple loads… I do it as soon as I see the basket full and put away. It’s too tedious when there are 5 or 6 loads to do!
