most important thing about buying shoes? comfort, durability, style. . . in that order. i’d get the dawson in chocolate/bubble gum.

I look for arch support. My son is very flat footed. Maybe Crocs would help him. I have never purchased them.

most important thing to me is, will they wear them? Sounds silly, but I have wasted money on shoes that just sit in the bottom of the closet.

The most important thing to me when buying shoes, especially for school, is that it is practical. I want her to be able to wear them with virtually anything, run in them, slip them on and off and be comfortable in them all day! If we were to win, we would choose the MacKenzie model.

My children are little andnot in school yet, but I look forward to enjoying the weather with them and getting out the fall wardrobe.

  14. Traci

    August 18, 2009 at 8:18 am

I go for comfort & durability! My choice would be Dawson!

  15. Julieann

I like the Dawson and Teton from above. I usually base my shoe purchasing decisions on price. With kids growing out of shoes so quickly, durability is not really my most important factor.

I am always looking for something that will with stand the playground, but also will look appropriate for an evening out with the grandparents. I think that children’s shoes need to easy to clean and look great with anything.

When I buy shoes for my kids I look for durability and comfort. Of course, it is also important that they like the shoes.
