I had no idea Walgreens was doing this until I saw the post yesterday. I missed out on the 8×10 Sunday but got yesterday and todays deal.

I don’t think they print anything larger than 8×10 at the store…so that’s why there is no option for in store pickup. $2 still isn’t bad for a $1o item. That’s 80% off still!

Well, I ordered the picture … and now I need to decide what to do with it! :o) Does anyone have any frugal ideas for mounting or framing a poster? I ordered a large print of my wedding picture, and I’d like to do something nice with it, but large frames can get expensive. Any ideas? Thanks, everyone!

Keep an eye out for frames that have a broken glass. You can get these at a steep discount. Glass panes can be bought at The Home Depot or Lowes (precut – they have standard 8×10, 11×14 packaged) for 2-3 dollars.

Great, thanks for the idea Jaclyn! Do you buy frames at craft stores (like Michaels)?

You can also watch garage sales and local auctions for deals on frames. WalMart also carries relatively inexpensive frames that you can “upgrade” yourself with paint or other finishes.

I called Walgreens Photo and the CSR I spoke to stated that anything over an 8×10 has to be shipped. I also asked about the photo clings which is tomorrows deal and she stated that also has to be shipped, hope that help everyone out.

I was just coming to find out about the shipping also. I guess I will have to pay it. My daughter picked out a picture of her on her show horse. :)

Bridget – I also had a hard time connecting when I followed the links posted, so I went straight to Walgreens.com, clicked Photo, found the link to posters, and went from there. For some reason that worked for me, even though the link didn’t.

Yes, I have a horrible time getting onto the Walgreens site for the past couple months. I call customer service and they say it is my computer. I check with my tech and he tells me it’s the site! So, in the past two months I have been able to access “my photos” just once. They gave me free 4×6 credits and I can’t even use them!

Why are you showing August DEALS in February?
And why are you showing Tuesday deals on Friday?
I would like a coupon for printer ink cartridge refills that are featured on Friday in the newspaper flyer???
