I would look for comfort and support. Price is important, too, as kids go through shoes so quickly sometimes.

Awesome giveaway!!! Thanks Tara! When I buy shoes for my girls (ages 6 and 3), I look for durability and style, but also how much use they will actually get. I don’t want to buy a really cute pair of shoes only to have them be able to wear them with one or two outfits.

I look for price and durability! It helps if they are cute too!

It is important to take care of little feet – I look for a sturdy shoe that fits well – I would never use hand me down shoes for my children. It is very important to take care of their feet.

my daughter lives in these all summer. i’m happy to see the new styles. I actually wear the rxcrocs for my heel spur – ugly but cheaper than orthotics.

I look for 3 things – comfort, price, and ease of getting them on! ;) I have three kids to get ready in the morning, so Crocs are our FAVORITES because 2 out of 3 can put them on themselves! :) Woo hoo!

I look for something that’s not too expensive, but good enough quality to last more than a month or two and still look somewhat decent.

  17. Marissa

Since I have boys I am always looking for durability and comfort. I would choose the Dawson Model. They look different and comfortable.

The most important thing I consider when buying new shoes is DURABILITY. My kids are active and rough. I don’t mind paying more for good quality as long as they last.

The most important factor to m in choosing shoes is that they fit correctly. There is nothing worse than a child coming home from their first day of school and complaining of sore feet due to the wrong size shoe! I would love the Teton model for my son and the Sophia style for my girls!
