My son loves when I send him sandwich kebobs! I use wooden skewers and alternate grape tomatoes, chunks of sweet pickle, cheese, summer sausage, olives, and cubed french bread. He loves showing them off, and I know he’s eating healthy!~

Always pack a protein, fruit of his choice and a vegetable. Special treat would be a cookie or muffin. A little note is sometimes added with a sticker just to let him know I think of him while he is at school.

My entire blog is dedicated to the lunches I pack for my son! I use Bento boxes to make his lunch fun and healthy! I will sometimes cut his fruit or vegetables in to interesting shapes, draw on his cheese with food color markers, lots of things to make it fun to see and eat! I always make sure he has a good balanced meal as well because nutrition is very important!

We leave notes in the lunchbox. My husband even incorporates my daughter’s spelling words into the note!

My daughter hates bread so I stack ham and cheese and cut it into triangles, or roll it up and cut it into spirals. It takes no more time than actually making a sandwich and she gets the most important part – the protein. Stick in some crackers and you have your own “lunchable” for a fraction of the price.
In cold weather here in the north east my girls both take a thermos with warm leftovers.
Nina
I always try to include a fruit for dessert.
