New Crayola Crayons were one of my favorite back-to-school supplies as a kid. There was just something about a brand new pack of shiny, multi-colored crayons that inspired me to want to create colorful images of hearts and rainbows and all things sparkly and pretty that the imaginations of young girls conjure up. That waxy scent still takes me right back to the first day of 2nd grade, kind of like the smell of Playdoh reminds me of rainy day fun. . .

    My Crayola Caddy for my 10th birthday! I loved it so much I saved it for my children! Every school year when supplies would go on sale my Mom would refill my caddy. I carried that bright, yellow-orange plastic caddy everywhere with me! I carried it so much that my Gramma even sewed me a tote that fit it just perfect so that I could carry it and not loose one crayon, pencil or marker! Crayola Crayons & products outweighed Barbie in my life! I love your site! Thank You!

    I loved putting crayon shavings on wax paper and then folding it in half and ironing it. If ya hang it in the window, it looks kind of like stained glass. My kids love it too!!

    Nothing says fall to me like the smell of a box of fresh crayolas! I love having a brand new box all sharp and pointy and fresh! Now they are the only brand I buy for my classroom and my son! We go through boxes of them here!

    My favorite crayola memory is “accidentally” letting them melt in the back seat of my mom’s old beater, and thinking it was just beautiful. Of course, mom probably wouldn’t agree.

    My favorite memory of crayola crayons is when I was in 2nd grade going over to my neighbor’s house and coloring. They couldn’t have children and always had crayons and books for me. They kept all my artwork in a photo album and gave it to me when I got married. I still have it.
