New Crayola Crayons were one of my favorite back-to-school supplies as a kid. There was just something about a brand new pack of shiny, multi-colored crayons that inspired me to want to create colorful images of hearts and rainbows and all things sparkly and pretty that the imaginations of young girls conjure up. That waxy scent still takes me right back to the first day of 2nd grade, kind of like the smell of Playdoh reminds me of rainy day fun. . .
I’m so glad that Crayola products have stood the test of time and are now inspiring a new generation of imaginations. And I’m happy to share with you about how you can join in the fun!
Every Tuesday night through the month of August, Crayola is sponsoring “Girls Night Out” on Twitter – the mommy social gathering featuring colorful and engaging discussions on all things back-to-school. Crayola has teamed up with MomItForward.com, the creator of “Girls Night Out” (GNO), to bring you the “Crayola Creativitycast.” The weekly series of GNO discussions will feature a new topic each week like “Affordable Fun 101” and “Back to School Survival Guide,” and all GNO participants will have the chance to win great prizes!
For more details about tonight’s #GNO chat and how to participate, go here.
Don’t worry if you’ve already got plans during these events – you also have the opportunity to win one of four Crayola Creativity Packs right here on Deal Seeking Mom!

In kindergarten my mom was the room mom and she got all the kids a box of the 8 big Crayolas one year. Every crayon in my box was broken – I was the only kid with any that weren’t pristine. I was heartbroken but the teacher got me a box of 16 to make up for it.

I already suscribe to your email. Again, thanks so much for all that you do!

I love crayola crayons. Even as a young kid I preferred crayola over other brands.

I still enjoy the pretty look of Crayola crayons as they bring a coloring page to life. No others compare. . .really, they just aren’t the same.
Emily
I love Crayola, and would love these for my son.

My favorite memory is when I refused to share my “good” Crayola crayons with my best friend in kindergarten and forced her to use the other brand ones instead. Yes, she tattled and I was spanked. We still laugh about it!

I think this is one of the best giveaways I’ve seen! I’ve had my eye on most of these products but they just aren’t in our budget right now. I remember as a kid that I always got the 64 count box of Crayola crayons for my birthday, Christmas, and in my Easter basket! I always loved looking at the colors, and I would wait to use them because I wanted to keep them perfectly new forever!

I always remember having colored pencils for road trips. My parents wouldn’t let us take actual Crayons because they were afraid of them melting in the car.

My favorite memory? Finger painting, outside with those large rolls of paper spread out!!
Lisa B.
I loved the new box of crayons’ smell. There is nothing in the world like it. I also loved the right out of the box sharpness and the sound it made as it first hit the paper. Now, where did I put that extra new box of crayons?

My fave memory of crayola was my Crayola Caddy. I received it for Christmas many years ago, it spun around and had markers and crayons and paints…I loved it! My email is savedbygrace7215(at)yahoo(dot)com

My favorite memory is a brand new box of markers how juicy they were and how vibrant the colors were on the very 1st project I’d start on! And I already subscribe to your e-mails.

I love Crayola crayons, and when I was younger, I had an issure with the papers, so I would strip my crayons. My dad built a really nice box to hold my hundreds of naked crayons, I took my crayon box to church with me, and left it in the car window, and created 9 really neat square multi colored crayons (they had melted from the sun).

My favorite memory of crayola crayons is that smell when you open a new box and you try to put each one back in its place!
