New Crayola Crayons were one of my favorite back-to-school supplies as a kid. There was just something about a brand new pack of shiny, multi-colored crayons that inspired me to want to create colorful images of hearts and rainbows and all things sparkly and pretty that the imaginations of young girls conjure up. That waxy scent still takes me right back to the first day of 2nd grade, kind of like the smell of Playdoh reminds me of rainy day fun. . .
I’m so glad that Crayola products have stood the test of time and are now inspiring a new generation of imaginations. And I’m happy to share with you about how you can join in the fun!
Every Tuesday night through the month of August, Crayola is sponsoring “Girls Night Out” on Twitter – the mommy social gathering featuring colorful and engaging discussions on all things back-to-school. Crayola has teamed up with MomItForward.com, the creator of “Girls Night Out” (GNO), to bring you the “Crayola Creativitycast.” The weekly series of GNO discussions will feature a new topic each week like “Affordable Fun 101” and “Back to School Survival Guide,” and all GNO participants will have the chance to win great prizes!
For more details about tonight’s #GNO chat and how to participate, go here.
Don’t worry if you’ve already got plans during these events – you also have the opportunity to win one of four Crayola Creativity Packs right here on Deal Seeking Mom!

The Crayola Creativity Pack includes:

I love all things Crayola, even now as a mommy. Sharing arts and crafts with my 3 babies has been the high light of the past 5 years. We love to chalk cities in the summer, paint leaves in the fall, decorate Christmas cards in the Winter, and welcome spring with the easel and a painting party! I HEART CRAYOLA!

My favorite memory of crayons is just watching my nephew with awe in his eyes and a intense smile while dreaming of the possibilities of what was to come while coloring.

I just subscribed via email. Look forward to many deals on your website. I have been couponing since the 80′ s when coupons had no expiration date. I work two jobs so sometimes it is hard to keep up with all the deals.

I also remember all the colors in the big box with the sharpner on the back. It was cool. We used to do the wax paper pictures with crayons in VBS.

I think I know where my craziness comes from: My mom would buy us the beautiful set of 96 crayola crayons, but I wouldn’t use them because I was afraid they would wear out! Today, I have a huge stockpile of groceries and H&B because I’m afraid I’m going to run out!!! Oh well….

my favorite crayloa thing to do when I was a kid was to try to use multiple colors on an area of a coloring sheet to try to create a new color/ depth to my drawings.

I use to love opening a brand new box of Crayons. That smell & seeing that rainbow of colors was so exciting to me. Actually, I still like to crack open a new box of colors with my daughter from time to time! She is the artistic one. It would totally make her day, her year for that matter, to get this great collection of art supplies.

My mom and I would pick out a coloring book and we would each color one picture every night between dinner and bedtine. I miss being anywhere from 3-10 years old!

I remember using Crayola as a kid. I used to take the shaving of the crayon and try to create a beautiful picture as well as make a design on a tee shirt. We would take the wax paper and let it melt on the tee shirt. I also use the markers to make neat designs on my color page and outline it so that it look neat for the teacher. As I grew up I showed my kids what it meant to have the right Crayola to outline items as well as to draw with.

The best was making candles out of the remnants of crayons. Took forever to peel off the label, but we made some wild creations.
