New Crayola Crayons were one of my favorite back-to-school supplies as a kid. There was just something about a brand new pack of shiny, multi-colored crayons that inspired me to want to create colorful images of hearts and rainbows and all things sparkly and pretty that the imaginations of young girls conjure up. That waxy scent still takes me right back to the first day of 2nd grade, kind of like the smell of Playdoh reminds me of rainy day fun. . .

    I love the huge boxes of crayons with the sharpener in them – I still remember the smell when opening them – yummy! I also remember mom buying us rolls of paper (they looked like toilet paper rolls actually) and coloring and coloring on them, thanks!

    My favorite memory is when we actually had the 64 count box of crayons. I thought it was so cool to sharpen the crayons, and so much easier to color with a continuously sharp crayon.

    My favorite memory was my first box of crayons with a built in sharpener. I thought that was the coolest thing ever! I loved coloring- could do it all day when I was a kid and my kids are the same way

    I remember the small boxes, but I was always excited when I was able to get the BIG box that had the built-in sharpener in the side. It was great, and it had silver and gold crayon colors as well.

    I remember coloring all over every coloring book with my mom and her putting my creations on the fridge.

    I loved opening a new box of crayons on the first day of school. My old one from the year before were used at home or my mom took the to church and used them in the class she taught. (They were two year olds.) I could not understand why two year olds wanted to break those beautiful crayons.

    What a fabulous giveaway! I remember getting that HUGE box of 64 crayons with the sharpener in the back and coloring for literal HOURS in those HUGE coloring books on the floor….happy memories!

    My favorite memory of using Crayola products was when my great aunts would get on the floor and color in coloring books with us! We’d break out that Box of 64 and have a ball! I miss those days…
