$5 Success Rice The Princess and the Frog Mail-In Rebate

March 16, 2010 by Tara Kuczykowski 16 Comments

There will be a 3rd rebate available for Disney’s The Princess and the Frog in the upcoming Redplum insert. Save $5 by mail when you purchase any (2) Success Rice products, plus the Princess and the Frog DVD or DVD/Blu-ray combo pack.

You’ll also find a coupon good for $1/2 Success Rice products, so hopefully we can find a good sale to pair it with!

My husband picked up the movie this morning, and it does have two Proof of Purchase tabs on it, so you may choose two rebates to use with your DVD or DVD/Blu-ray purchase.

Other coupons and mail-in rebates available:

  • $5/1 Disney’s The Princess and the Frog DVD
  • $10/1 Disney’s The Princess and the Frog DVD/Blu-ray Combo Pack
  • $5 Band-Aids mail-in rebate
  • $5 FrogTape mail-in rebate

Thanks, Mama Wants a New Pair of Shoes!

My husband (unknowingly) purchased the $19.99 Blu-ray today at Target and used the $10 off coupon. Even though the coupon says “combo pack,” it will still take off the $10 off the non-combo pack Blu-ray, making the total Blu-ray only $9.99. Good deal if you can pull it off.

I was at 2 different CVS’s today and neither store had them yet. But I’ll still go back. I have a $3/$15 coupon that I need to use and some ECBs to use up too. After all coupons and ECBs I think I’ll pay $5 OOP. Also, thanks for the info on the new rebate. Success Rice is something I’ll actually use, unlike FrogTape.

Zuly, it is the DVD only at CVS for $19.99, and you get $3 ECBs when you buy it. So, by combining the $5 DVD coupon and the ECBs, you get the DVD for $11.99 (that is before any rebates you might want to do too, so it could end up even cheaper). I think it’s a great deal if you happen to have the CVS $3/$15 store coupon that you can stack with the $5 manufacturer coupon (if you go, try scanning your extra care card at the kiosk – I got another $3/$15 when I was at 1 of the 2 CVS’s today).

tried to get it at target but they were sold out at 12:00pm still early and they were out. But I will try again I have the $10 off coupon for the combo making it $16.99 plus I plan to buy some kids Band-Aid products I have 3 manufacturer coupons for $1 and 3 Target coupons for $1 and the kids Band-Aids are on sale for $1.63 so that means not only I get them FREE I get overage and I can use the $5 rebate. Can’t wait to see how much I save! :)

Safeway Stores has the stand alone DVD $19.99 or Blu-Ray $26.99 and the combo pack coupon will work on the DVD for sure (just used it), plus you get all kinds of freebies!
    Free with either copy:
    Tiana coloring book/crayons
    Smart Water-6 pack
    Tiana Cup
    Box of microwave popcorn

Plus, its Kohl’s cash week so with a $50 purchase you earn $10 Kohl’s cash. Get the movie, stock up on some loss leader items and you can walk away saving a bundle this week!

I bought the Success Rice at Meijer today, hoping this rebate would come out soon. I scored two “use this now” coupons off boxes for .55 cents off each making it $1.94 per box.

So I am assuming I have to pick the rebates I do now? Can I do the success, band-aid and frog tape? Or just 2 because of the proof of purchase on the DVD.

You may only do two of the rebates because there are only two proof of purchase tabs.

I bought the DVD yesterday at Target for $15.99! I used my $5.00 coupon for the movie! I also bought two boxes of Band-Aids and after coupons they only cost 0.37 cents per box! Now, I just need to buy RICE!

    THANKS FOR THE TIP!

Do we have to buy the dvd and band aids in one transaction? Or can I buy the dvd at one store and the band aids at another? Also it says qualifying band aids but I see no list? I heard someone say it was only disney? Thanks
