Yes–I change my habits after the holidays. Usually lasts a month or two before I fall off of the bandwagon. :)

Best thing I do is eat a salad at night if I’m hungry…if that doesn’t fill me up, then I can eat whatever I was craving.

The ideal is to portion control/excerise during the holidays. Most people add on around 3-5 lbs. If you can control yourself then it’s all good if not hitting the gym, portion control, and low fat/high protein diet is the way to go. I myself only put on one pound which was great because I did not work out/portion control or diet. I will do all of these to lose some of my unwanted parts…LOL

I always start exercising more regularly and making better food choices..As a mother of 9 and cooking for all of them for the holidays I’m always in the need for a more disciplined lifestyle!

Portion control, excercise and eating healthy. I’m going to get back to doing WW after a much too long hiatus.

I’m usually so sick of food by the time the holidays are over that it is fairly easy to use portion control to get things under control again. What I NEED to do is exercise.

I change my habits slightly after the holidays. It seems like there are so many goodies sitting around our house during this time of year. Usually I toss them all in the trash on the 1st. Also, this year, I got a Wii and Wii Fit Plus so I will be doing that regularly at the beginning of the New Year.

I try to stay healthy all year long… sure I treat myself a little during the holidays, but I try so hard not to change my habits. I have spent the past year losing 80 lbs and plan on keep it plus more off!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
