Complementing the selection of quality pet food and supplies in Kroger stores, Kroger Personal Finance (KPF) brings together a wide array of quality financial products and services from preferred providers for Kroger customers and their furry family members, including a new “accident only” pet insurance policy for just $9.95/month per pet.
To most pet owners, pets are family too! When pets get sick or injured, most of us are willing to spend almost whatever it takes to get them back on all four feet, but the price of veterinary care does not come cheap. As a matter of fact, according to the American Pet Products Association (APPA) vet bills last year in the U.S. topped $11 billion. For this reason, pet insurance policies are on the rise.
Kroger Pet Insurance coverage starts at just $9.95 for an accident-only plan and includes plans with up to $12,000 worth of annual coverage per pet. Sign up in Kroger’s stores or online!

Make them work for their keep! LOL. As if my lazy cats would ever get off their fat behinds. I do use coupons to save on food costs … got several 3 lb bags for .49c a piece from a Meijer coupon not that long ago.

I don’t skimp for the cats. The only way I really save money on cat food is buying the bulk bag and storing it in an air tight container.

I am not good when it comes to saving money on our lab, Chase. He is spoiled. The only way I have saved money is getting coupons for his dog food through Nutro (and they have a buy 10 bags get one free) so that helps.
:)

I use coupons and stock up when I can. I also get all the samples I can.
Melissa Amos
I try to find coupons on foods that they eat.
Melissa
I stick with the same food that is healthy for them, sometimes I am lucky to find a coupon for it.
Leslie

Saving on food & treats is easy; coupons + sales = stockpile. The vet care is a tough one. In April, we spent almost $5000 on our 10yr old beloved dog, Buster, who ended up dying anyway after eating mushrooms, and this insurance would have been VERY helpful in absorbing some of that cost!!

Hi! I am a subscriber and I save on petcare by feeding my dogs frozen green beans instead of treats. My dogs love them and the vet recommends them as they do not promote weight gain. I also save money on antibiotics by filling them at stores where antibiotics are free when possible.
Linda
I buy in bulk and also shop clearance
Jack
I ask for Petco gift cards for holidays
Kate
I buy pet food and treats at warehouse clubs.

I wait for my grocer to do double coupons and I use them!
