I really wish I could say I have it all under control, but I’m sorry to tell you that most days I’m just flying by the seat of my pants. Organization is definitely not my forte, but I’m hoping that my momAgenda Desktop planner will assist me in getting organized in the New Year. The bright colors and clean layout inspire me, and I love that there are plenty of extra pages for notes.

Moms will appreciate the week at a glance layout, and if you’re into menu planning, there’s a slot to write each day’s menu for the week. There are also slots for keeping track of the kids’ schedules, so you can keep all of your obligations in one easy-to-use holding place.

More About momAgenda
Since its inception in 2005, momAgenda has grown annually to include a diversified range of products that help organize the lives of mothers and others, including day planners, home organizers, and helpful pads. The collection is sold at leading national retailers and regional boutiques throughout the US. Nina Restieri, momAgenda’s inventor and founder, gets immense joy out of helping the pieces of everyone’s personal puzzle – family, career, home and social life – come together.

I try to make a text file to do list on my desktop, and then try to cross through throughout the day. It could be better, that’s for sure!

I try to keep myself organized each day with my Iphone and its alarms, as well as a paper calendar/planner for long range planning. Its hard to keep schedules up to date for myself and my husband as well as our son, so I need it in two spots! Love the Momagendas!

I make lists all the time…I also have a chore system on note cards. Each chore has an assigned day, so I just flip through the day’s cards until they are done.

I wake up in the morning with my kids, because I am just not a morning person (I am praying to change this!). So, I pretty much prioritize 2-3 thing that day besides our normal kid routine. I don’t always write these down, but I know I am shooting to get those done.

I have tried writing things down the night before to kind of plan my day hour by hour, and the days I do that things go much smoother …….not that I stick to them anywhere near 100%, but I know what is coming next. I think the majority of the days that I am pulling my hair out with my kids, there could have been less stress if I just would have planned better. Example, when kids are having their room play time (which I am not always good about) then I work on my business. There is so much chaos that I know I could prevent if I was more vigilent about planning ………I NEED THIS PLANNER!!

I plan on a piece of paper and had 2 calendars – one large “desk top” style that stays at home and one small enough to keep in my purse that goes with me! I take time on Sundays to look at the entire week and plan accordingly and i make a list daily of the things that need to be done that day! Sometimes it works, sometimes it flops!

Some days I write a list…others not so much. I usually get much more done with a list to keep on task. I think I might have to make one today :-0

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
