I really wish I could say I have it all under control, but I’m sorry to tell you that most days I’m just flying by the seat of my pants. Organization is definitely not my forte, but I’m hoping that my momAgenda Desktop planner will assist me in getting organized in the New Year. The bright colors and clean layout inspire me, and I love that there are plenty of extra pages for notes.

Moms will appreciate the week at a glance layout, and if you’re into menu planning, there’s a slot to write each day’s menu for the week. There are also slots for keeping track of the kids’ schedules, so you can keep all of your obligations in one easy-to-use holding place.

More About momAgenda
Since its inception in 2005, momAgenda has grown annually to include a diversified range of products that help organize the lives of mothers and others, including day planners, home organizers, and helpful pads. The collection is sold at leading national retailers and regional boutiques throughout the US. Nina Restieri, momAgenda’s inventor and founder, gets immense joy out of helping the pieces of everyone’s personal puzzle – family, career, home and social life – come together.

I use a program called Cozi, and it color codes each family member. I print the monthly calendar to hang in my kitchen.
I just got a BlackBerry recently (it was free :)), so I am using the calendar on it
I also like to have a planner each year
I also occasionally will make myself a to-do list

I am a fan on facebook. I have a chore list that I make out for weeks at a time. Each day has one or two chores to do. However, my list is behind my computer so it is hard to get to all the time. A planner would be so helpful and would make me feel like I am more organized.

I have a journal that I carry around in my purse and when I think of something I need at the store, or that I need to do, or whatever, I write it down!

I use a pad of paper and re-write it a couple of times until it’s neat.

I spend a half hour each evening planning out the next day. I am a new mom (5 week old daughter) and am trying to get the swing of things. Between errands, play dates, doctors appointments, and everyday chores I need that half hour to myself. I write everything that I would like to get accomplished that day down and then write out what activites we have planned. I also carry a pad of paper with me so I can write something down if I forget. As far as a calendar, I keep one in the office and one on the fridge. I write all appointements and activities on both calendars so I always know what’s going on. If my husband needs to know what’s going on there is a calendar in two places so he can’t miss it! :-)

The momAgendas look great and would be a nice way to have everything written down and be able to carry it around. It would fit great in a diaper bag since it doesn’t appear to take up too much room.

I hang a calendar right by my desk, which sometimes helps. I am the worst at writing important things on the back of receipts, sticking them in my purse, and then accidentally throwing them away. An organizer would be great :)

I really lack in being organized. I currently print a blank monthly calendar on line and print it and put it on the fridge door. I do indeed need some help in this area.

I have a day planner that I keep separate for work…then I have a calendar at home with three columns on each day – one for me, my husband and my son – to keep our events separate – and hopefully straight!! :)

This would be a GREAT addition to help me keep up with the organization. :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
