Lindsay Olives’
Handmade Olive Branch Wreaths
The first thing that struck me about my Lindsay Olives’ Handmade Holiday Olive Branch Wreath was just how good it smelled when I opened the box. Then I was struck by just how pretty it is. I immediately hung it on our front door, but if I’d have received it closer to Thanksgiving, I would have loved to use it as a centerpiece with a candle holder in the center like the photo on their website.
This would make a lovely hostess gift for a holiday dinner, and even better, your gift will also help feed the hungry. Lindsay Olives donates all proceeds from the sales of the wreaths to Meals On Wheels. I love it when gift giving and helping others go hand in hand!
More About Bell-Carter Foods, Inc. and Lindsay Olives
Although they’re now the largest producer of table olives in the U.S., Bell-Carter Foods, Inc. is still a family-run business that will never forget its roots — roots that run deep and wide with the way they care about their employees, the community, the environment, and the olive trees that their growers harvest. And just like the olive tree, they believe in taking their time as they grow to ensure they never lose sight of their values.

Currently all of my holiday greenery is fake, but I would really like a fresh wreath or two!

I swag fresh greens on my front stairway and love the scent it greets my guests.

I grew up in South Carolina and had a big Magnolia tree in our front yard. My mom and I would make wreaths and centerpieces out of the leaves and other greenery. I’m in Ohio now so I miss that but still enjoy the memory!

I love garlands with sparkly white lights, big bows, and ornaments. I put them up on all my windows. To make it easy I’ve put small nails at the top of the window frame so that the head is almost all the way down (we have wood wrapped windows). You can’t see them looking up so they stay there all the time. I’ve marked each garland with where it goes and I leave a looped string where it hangs on the nails. Makes it easy to put them up and take them down.

Thanks, these are beautiful wreaths!

I use the fake stuff, so I’d love to have something real. My grandmother volunteers for Meals on Wheels every week, so she would feel so proud to have one too!

I love to use the trimmings from a live tree to make little bundles that I can hang in the windows.

I just LOVE this wreath idea. I’d have to say that anything real (live) is the best – a live tree, pots of rosemary. I’ll have to add olive wreaths to my list! I’ve been trying to grow them for years.

I love decorating with “found” greens: picking up the trimmings from the bottom of the christmas tree and making it into a wreath, magnolia leaves, palms, holly, etc. My children and I take walks to see what we can find.
Laura
My new “green” decoration this year is hanging small wreaths from long strips of fabric in the windows of our kitchenette. Each wreath will have a small bird ornament perched in the wreath. They are so simple yet add a special Christmas touch.
Chrissy
My favorite holiday greenery is the classic pine boughs. I decorate with pine wreaths, swags, and of course, the Christmas tree. I love to see swooping pine boughs on people’s porches.

Pine cones, and swags are so festive. Olive wreaths sound lovely.
Valerie
I like all evergreens, but a couple of long-needle branches tied together with pine cones attached makes a wonderful spray for the front door.
