Lindsay Olives’
Handmade Olive Branch Wreaths
The first thing that struck me about my Lindsay Olives’ Handmade Holiday Olive Branch Wreath was just how good it smelled when I opened the box. Then I was struck by just how pretty it is. I immediately hung it on our front door, but if I’d have received it closer to Thanksgiving, I would have loved to use it as a centerpiece with a candle holder in the center like the photo on their website.
This would make a lovely hostess gift for a holiday dinner, and even better, your gift will also help feed the hungry. Lindsay Olives donates all proceeds from the sales of the wreaths to Meals On Wheels. I love it when gift giving and helping others go hand in hand!
More About Bell-Carter Foods, Inc. and Lindsay Olives
Although they’re now the largest producer of table olives in the U.S., Bell-Carter Foods, Inc. is still a family-run business that will never forget its roots — roots that run deep and wide with the way they care about their employees, the community, the environment, and the olive trees that their growers harvest. And just like the olive tree, they believe in taking their time as they grow to ensure they never lose sight of their values.

I love to hand garland on my staircase and around the front door. Nothing says christmas to me more than the smell of pine when you enter my home.

We love to use real Christmas wreaths on our doors and windows-they will last a long time and look beautiful.

I love the smell of the real Christmas tree in the house! I also have always loved poinsettas, but when we got our cat and she ate all of the leaves off of our house plants we decided to not use the poisonous plant in the house any more!

I love boxwood wreathes. Before kids I used to make them but no time now with three little ones. I love Frasier Fir trees. They are very beautiful. Would love to win!
Thanks.

I love to decorate the mirror above the fireplace with a beautifully draped swag of greens tied with deep purple ribbons. Then the book cases on either side of the fireplace get a similar treatment.
Add a cup of tea in the evening with holiday music in the background…can’t wait to decorate.

We always hang a simple, live evergreen wreath on our front door and put a spotlight on it. It always looks so nice. We also always have a live Christmas tree in the house. I love Frazier Firs. They look a little more rustic and aren’t so painful to hang ornaments on!!

We always get a real tree. Nothing like cutting it down yourself. My wreaths on the other hand are just pathetic.

I always ask for the leftover branches from frasier fir christmas trees when they cut down the trunk for you at the lot. I love the smell! I love to see simple greenery hung with big velvet ribbons. I would love to win these wreaths.

I usually decorate with fake greenery–ivy, mostly–so that I can reuse it from year to year. Oh, and there’s always some mistletoe to be found!

I love real Christmas trees, but we’ve had so many real ones fall that we use a fake one now. So I like to send the wreaths and swags from LL Bean to others to make sure they have that smell. My mom always loved pointsettias; they were her favorite. When I lived in So Cal, she was amazed we grew them year-round. Now she’s passed, and I get one pointsettia to remember her.
