December 3, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

TAYGA Cooking ApronsTayga Red & White Reversible Cooking Apron
Who needs a special occasion to use an apron? These super cute TAYGA cooking aprons will have you looking for an excuse to use them every day. I especially love the full, colorful reversible aprons. Wearing one makes cooking just a little more fun, while protecting your clothes from messy spills at the same time.

And how cute are the children’s aprons? They’re on my must-buy list for my two girls. Look for teens aprons coming December 1st and men’s aprons in Spring 2010 too.

More About TAYGA
TAYGA, an acronym for “This ain’t your grandmother’s apron!”, has been producing feminine and functional handmade aprons for women of all sizes for more than two years. Designers Debbie and Peg design their playful and sexy aprons to help women experience joy in the kitchen.

My favorite food item to prepare during the holidays is a Cream Cheese Braid from scratch. My daughter just loves it and will be happy when Mom’s shoulder heals and can make her some more.

Every year I bake and decorate sugar cookies with my niece and nephew. As they’ve gotten older the decorations have improved, but we have so much fun getting flour in our hair and laughing together. They don’t even like to eat them, they just get excited to present them to the rest of the family!

    Happy Holidays!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
