And how cute are the children’s aprons? They’re on my must-buy list for my two girls. Look for teens aprons coming December 1st and men’s aprons in Spring 2010 too.

I always make homemade pumpkin pies. It is a HAVE TO thing. My pumpkin pies are different than most… I follow the recipe on the can. However I always add more cinnamon & nutmeg than the recipe calls for & then right before placing them in the oven I sprinkle more on top. My daughter Emily has to have 1 to take home with her. For a family of 5 I always have to make at least 6 pies. Someone is compelled to eat a whole pie by themself. Don’t forget the Cool whip.

My favorite holiday dish is my grandmother’s strawberry pie. She only makes it for our full family gatherings, which is only around the holidays. Last year, we visited my in-laws for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I just couldn’t imagine either one without my grandma’s strawberry pie, so I got her recipe and made it myself. It just wasn’t the same, though!

My favorite holiday treats to make are chow mein noodle bars and peanut butter balls….both are already sitting in containers in my kitchen!
