November 28, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Shabby Apple Black RosetteShabby Apple Midnight Garden
You’re sure to find a figure-flattering and occasion-appropriate dress on Shabby Apple.com. I don’t know about you, but I’m always wary of ordering clothing online. Not so with Shabby Apple’s Fit to Flatter. I love that they have a large variety of styles, and they will help you choose the perfect one just by answering three simple questions that will help identify the most appropriate style for your shape.

Shabby Apple also delivers Couture with a Conscience. They donate 5% of their net profits to providing micro-credit loans to women in developing countries. If you can swing it, please consider donating an additional $5 at checkout. They’ve almost reached their goal of helping 500 women this year!

More About Shabby Apple
After years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable (without wearing a tank top, cardigan or long slip), owners Emily and CK decided to do something about it. Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous without having to compromise anything else.

I love hitting up the factory stores (Banana Republic, Ann Taylor, etc) . I used to work in retail, and know the clothes that end up there are still quality garments-the flaws are usually so minor it doesn’t affect their wearability. Also, their lower price helps me know I’m getting quality goods for a great deal!

Stores will often have clothes with losse hems, small holes, make-up marks, etc. on sale. Most of these clothing items require minimal stitching or even just a wash. Also, if these items aren’t are sale and you find a blemish, they will usually give you a generous discount :).

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
