Shabby Apple Black RosetteShabby Apple Midnight Garden
You’re sure to find a figure-flattering and occasion-appropriate dress on Shabby Apple.com. I don’t know about you, but I’m always wary of ordering clothing online. Not so with Shabby Apple’s Fit to Flatter. I love that they have a large variety of styles, and they will help you choose the perfect one just by answering three simple questions that will help identify the most appropriate style for your shape.

Shabby Apple also delivers Couture with a Conscience. They donate 5% of their net profits to providing micro-credit loans to women in developing countries. If you can swing it, please consider donating an additional $5 at checkout. They’ve almost reached their goal of helping 500 women this year!

More About Shabby Apple
After years of not being able to find stylish dresses that covered enough skin to make you really feel comfortable (without wearing a tank top, cardigan or long slip), owners Emily and CK decided to do something about it. Shabby Apple is proud to offer you fantastic dresses that allow you to look fabulous without having to compromise anything else.

I have never really been into fashion, but since I was in high school I always tried to stretch my dollar when it came to buying clothes. Alot of clothing stores have great items on the clearance racks. Some may be missing a button, or it may just be out of season. If you don’t mind a little hunting you can find great items anytime of the year. There are also alot of stores such as Marshalls that offer name brand items at a fraction of the price. Or you can always check dealseeking mom for the latest deals!

Shop end of season or out of season is the best way to stretch a buck. Would live to have anything that flatter my body right now.

Consignment shops are great, but also Yonkers/Herbergers run constant sales, so my daughter and I just wait until our items go on clearance and use our store coupons, too!

I’m not sure that this would fit into the category of “quality clothes at an affordable price”, but I typically find great deals for myself at Kohl’s. The quality isn’t the best in the world, but it works for me!

The best way I save money on clothes, especially dressy clothes, is to buy classic styles that are reasonably well made. I know I won’t wear the dressy stuff that often, so I must be able to wear it for a couple years to make it worth buying!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
