Olive Hoop Necklace

Who knew that old, broken glass could be turned into such beautiful jewelry? I get tons of compliments on my Olive Green Hoop Necklace. People are shocked when I tell them it came from a vintage wine bottle.

Therein lies the true beauty of these pieces. Each one is utterly unique and has its own personal story behind it, which is included with each jewelry piece. The only problem is you’ll find it tough to choose just one item with such an array of styles and colors.

More About Bottled Up Designs
An avid glass and bottle collector, Laura Bergman spent countless hours poking through the many old glass and bottle dumps scattered throughout the natural wooded habitats and rural farmlands in Pennsylvania. However, seeing the beauty and the history in the broken glass left behind, decided to pick up the pieces and turn them into something beautiful again.

I wish had that kind of crafty nature, my recycling is purely practical. I re-use plastic bags to clean the kitty litter pan and use cologne samples from magazines to deodorize by my garbage can.

my daughter LOVES yoplait yogurt so I buy the big containers, when we are done eating it all we wash the containers and use them to store the girls crafts, markers , pens pencils, anything that will fit, they are big containers so I feel good about them not taking up any space in the landfill or wherever recyclables go!
    Thanks!! Love this jewelry!

I try to recycle or reuse everything! I don’t get very creative, but reusing grocery bags and grocery jars are practical solutions. I have never heard of saving pop tops for cancer patients. I’d love info on that.

We recycle trash…including lots of milk jugs. This year we were able to give our church lots of clean empty jugs to be reused as beautiful luminaries to light the way to our local park for our church’s Christmas Gift to our community the Live Nativity…a 45 min reenactment of the Holy Night of Jesus’s Birth!

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
