12 Days of Christmas Giveaway: Lora Elizabeth Stamped Flower Power Necklace

November 29, 2009 by Tara Kuczykowski

Come browse the 12 Days of Christmas Holiday Gift Guide for unique gifts from mompreneurs, inventors, artists and companies that give back. With more than 70 exclusive coupon codes, you’re sure to find something for everyone on your list!

Lora Elizabeth Flower Power NecklaceLora Elizabeth Stamped Jewelry Flower Power Stamped Necklace
The Flower Power Necklace from Lora Elizabeth is the perfect gift for a young girl. I have a bit of a thing for hand-stamped jewelry, and I love the aged look of this piece paired with the small pearl dangle. My five-year-old daughter just oohed and ahhed over it and immediately requested that I put it on her. Of course then my 3-year-old daughter was devastated that I didn’t have one for her as well, so keep that in mind if you have several girls.

Lora Elizabeth has more to offer than just girls’ necklaces though. With gifts appropriate for moms, grandmas, dads, and grandpas, you may be able to complete a good portion of your shopping list right on her site.

More About Lora Elizabeth Stamped Jewelry
Lora Elizabeth Bonham creates jewelry from the heart. Made from sterling-silver, genunine leather and pure swarovski crystals, many pieces are hand-cut, filed, stamped, oxidized and polished. Order by 12/12 for Christmas delivery!

The most meaningful gift I received as a child was a collection of books from my grandmother. They were books she purchased in the late 1950s for my mother and her siblings. They all have an inscription inside, with the date and a note to the kids. I absolutely treasure them. I have read all of them and now, about 25 years or so later, I still have them and have lent some to my 10 year old nephew to read. He thinks it’s really cool to read books that Nana and Aunt Rachel have both read!

The most meaningful gift I received as a child was my Dancerella doll. My parents gave it to me, and they still have it in the toy closet at their house for the grandchildren to play with. jenmizener at gmail dot com

Every Christmas my grandmother would give me two pearls to add to a chain so that some day I would have my own strand of pearls. I still have them on the chain that I used to collect them.

My grandfather gave me a birthstone ring that I still have. The stone had fallen out but I still had the original setting with small diamond chips. I had often told my husband how much I had loved that ring growing up. A few years ago he had the ring reset. Even though the stones itself aren’t extremely valuable, the sentimental value is priceless. Kim

My most meaningful gift as a child was my Curious George stuffed animal! My kindergarten teacher had one that I loved SO much…she let me borrow it one weekend to bring home. For my next birthday, I got my one of my very own. Still have him thirty-some years later!

I have a small piggybank given to me when at my birth that I still have. It came in a sack of flour! I love that piggy bank. I would love to win a necklace for my granddaughter. Someday the bank will be hers.

The most meaningful gift I got as a kid was the canopy bed I had alsways wanted. My grandma even made a canopy for it to match my precious moments bed set! Close second was the keyboard I wanted. These gifts were ones I had been wanting for at least 2 yrs each before I was able to get them. I still have both almost 20 years later!

My mogful gift as a child was probably my accordian, even though I was disappointed because what I really wanted was a piano. My Mom and Dad didn’t have the money (or the room) for a piano, so they got the accordian. I turned out to be a champion accordian player :) and it’s what got me started on playing music. I went on to learn to play several different instruments and still do, including the piano :)

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
