Fortune cookies have a special meaning for my husband and me. I gave him a hinged silver-plated fortune cookie Christmas ornament with a custom fortune inside on our wedding day. So I instantly fell in love with these fortune cookie necklaces when I first saw them, and they’re just as precious in person.

Choose from seven preprinted “fortunes” or create your own message up to 28 characters. Amy even makes Itty Bitty Fortune Cookies that would be a perfect choice for a preteen.

More About Amy Peters’ Studio
Amy Peters has been creating her inspirational word jewelry for the past 15 years in sunny California and has become a leading name in fashion. The most meaningful gift I’ve ever given would have to be when I was 17, the year my mother tragically passed away in a car accident at the age of 38. Her death really came as a shock to everyone (her mother/my grandmother, her brother, us kids, and even my dad/her ex-husband. She passed away in early November, so it was still with everyone when Christmas time rolled around. I gave everyone a copy of the cd we played at her funeral (at their requests), and made chocolate covered cashews for everyone, which she used to make for Christmas. I know everyone was touched by this “hard ass” 17 year old doing something to honor her mother, even though it was just such simple little things.

My favorite gift was my kitchenaid mixer. I never would have bought it for myself, but so enjoy using it to bake with my sons.

Anyone who has children know that they are the best gift over anything ever received. I’m due with my second child around 12/25 so this would make for a perfect Christmas gift. My first was born around my birthday-how lucky am I?!

The most meaningful gift I’ve given is a speech for my best friend’s wedding. I choked up and cried, but it was from the heart!

Thanks for the opportunity to enter the drawing!

The first Christmas my Husband and I had together (before we were married, and we were living in two different states) I was totally into beanie babies and earlier in the month he asked me for a list of the beanies I had. On Christmas he surprised me with two huge boxes of beanies I did not have. I loathe beanies now lol, but at the time it was the best gift I had ever received!

Anytime you give something a person REALLY enjoys (rather than something you wish the person would enjoy), makes a gift meaningful.

The necklace my husband (then boyfriend) gave me, it was the first gift he gave me and was perfect. I still wear it everyday 12 years later.

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
