Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

The White Cloud GreenEarth paper towel and bath tissue line has recently been repackaged and is available exclusively at Walmart stores. The White Cloud GreenEarth paper towels are super strong, ultra absorbent, and durable enough to clean your toughest mess. However, they also happen to be made out of 100% post-consumer recycled material!
Our family recently had the opportunity to give the White Cloud Green Earth paper towels a try. Though we lean toward microfiber cloths for most of our cleaning needs, we do still keep paper towels on hand for larger messes and emergencies, and these definitely do the job!
I was impressed with the cleaning power and absorbency — they held up to a good amount of scrubbing. However, if you’re used to soft and thick high-end paper towels, you may need to get used to the rougher texture of these recycled paper towels. I personally feel that the benefits to the environment outweigh the difference, but don’t take my word for it. Priced at $2.97 for a 2 pack, you can pick them up for just $1.97 after this coupon!
Switching to White Cloud GreenEarth products may seem like a small change, but since they are made from 100% recycled materials it could go a long way in helping the environment.

We recycle but I am really trying to limit the AMOUNT of items we use. We are definetly guilty of using too much soap, shampoo, cleaning supplies, etc.

I’ve been using the “green” toilet paper since it came out. Won’t buy the other kind ever again. Use “green” paper towels whenever needed, which isn’t often; I usually use old bath cloths instead (except for throwup & broken glass. We recycle our newspapers, glass, and plastics. We have to drive to another city once a month to do that since we don’t have recycling pickup in our town. Wait until the car is loaded, so as not to waste gas. We always do our shopping and visiting/going to the doctor in the same trip to save gas & not pollute the environment too. Use “green” light bulbs. Even our washing machine is. All my cleaners are organic, nontoxic. My list goes on & on. Sure I forgot some things. If it can be bought nontoxic, organic, or “green”, we do!

Produce at the grocery store has a huge environmental cost in the shipping from wherever it was grown to the store. In the summer (sadly over now!) we always plant a garden & eat our own fresh, organic produce rather than store-bought. In addition to the environmental benefits, it saves us tons of money and we get far better products than we would at the store. I wish we could do the same year-round.

We are doing a lot of the little things that everyone’s doing…reusable bags, air drying clothes, shopping at farmer’s market, etc. I also have found myself rejecting certain purchases that come with too much packaging. For example, I buy bananas at Save A Lot because Aldi wraps them in plastic.

I have been recycling aluminum cans from the soda that I drink and in turn, we take them to the recycling center and my daughter gets to keep the money. This encourages her to also pick up cans while we are on bike rides. We also take reusable bags to the grocery stores each week (love CVS green bag tag!)
