The Little Engine That Could is coming to a DVD near you on Tuesday, March 22nd!
“I think I can, I think I can…” The timeless story comes to life in this all-new, feature-length film filled with fun and adventure! When Little Engine (Alyson Stoner, Cheaper by the Dozen) must leave Dreamland to deliver toys into the real world, she sets her fears aside and learns that with a little determination and courage, anything is possible. Featuring an all-star cast, including Whoopi Goldberg (The View), Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday), Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), this “fun family film” (Francine Brokaw, Los Angeles Family Magazine) is one you’ll enjoy again and again.
We had the opportunity to view an advance copy of The Little Engine That Could, and it was a hit with our family! It’s a twist on the classic story that kept my kids engaged for the duration. Plus as a parent I loved the positive messages delivered throughout the movie.

I have read this to my sons several times. I have alos read it to their classes at least once a year since htey have been in school. I recently found a more ‘grown-up’ version of it (similar to “Oh The Places You Will Go!” by Dr. Suess) that I gave away as a graduation gift. The Little Engine That Could is a timeless classic that is always relevent no matter if you are 2 or 102.
My oldest son, who is now 6 has been in love with trains since he was 2 years old. I use the Little Engine as a frequesnt reminder for him when he tells me he can’t do something because he is too little.
I use it to motivate my 4 year old that is anxious about being around others.Reminding him that no matter how small he is he can make a diiference.
I even use it to motivate myself when I am folding laundry and it seems like I’ll never get to the bottom of the pile :)

My little boy loves any book with trains. This was no exception! He loved it and “chugs” around the house climbing things.
