Win-It Wednesday: The Little Engine That Could Prize Package!

March 16, 2011 by Tara Kuczykowski

Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday, with 24-hour giveaways just for you!

The Little Engine That Could is coming to a DVD near you on Tuesday, March 22nd!

“I think I can, I think I can…” The timeless story comes to life in this all-new, feature-length film filled with fun and adventure! When Little Engine (Alyson Stoner, Cheaper by the Dozen) must leave Dreamland to deliver toys into the real world, she sets her fears aside and learns that with a little determination and courage, anything is possible. Featuring an all-star cast, including Whoopi Goldberg (The View), Jamie Lee Curtis (Freaky Friday), Corbin Bleu (High School Musical) and Brenda Song (The Suite Life of Zack and Cody), this “fun family film” (Francine Brokaw, Los Angeles Family Magazine) is one you’ll enjoy again and again.

We had the opportunity to view an advance copy of The Little Engine That Could, and it was a hit with our family! It’s a twist on the classic story that kept my kids engaged for the duration. Plus as a parent I loved the positive messages delivered throughout the movie.

Limited Time Offer: Buy the DVD and receive a “Kids Ride Free” AMTRAK coupon. Coupons valid from when booking your travel from 3/22/11-9/15/11 for travel 10/1/11-2/29/12

My kids love that book! We’ve had four copies (one for my son, one for my daughter, first copy was worn through, and one for Grandma’s). And guess which book my daughter begged to check out at the library the other day? Same one! And she insisted we get it, just to make sure every page was the same as our copy (and it wasn’t the exact same).

Hey there — nice to meet you!

I'm Tara: mom of 5 teens/tweens and one 80-lb. Weimaraner, who fancies herself a lap dog. Born and raised in Ohio (GO BUCKS!!!), my fave things include cooking + baking, my JEEP Rubicon, the 4x4 beaches at OBX, and checking out the local craft beer scene...

As you can imagine, all of this puts a good dent in my monthly budget. So I've learned how to save on the things I NEED, so I can spend on the things I WANT.
