    One of our traditions is a special dinner for my kids birthdays. They get to chose anything that they want.

    Our kids get to choose where we go out to eat on their birthdays. My son’s birthday is 2 months away, but he’s already planning for his birthday feast :).

    My favorite family tradition is letting my kids decide what they want to do for their birthdays. My daughter is turning 15 this month and she wants to see n.y. City. And last year was our first time ice skating and skiing we’ve been making lots of firsts together.

    For some reason food is always involved in making things memorable.
    Whenever we have canned whipped cream I gotta shoot it into the kids mouths (& a sister in law & brother in law). According to my kids I ‘have to make’ my french toast bake for Christmas morning. In the warmer months whenever we have a bonfire we ‘must’ have s’mores with peanut butter.
    We have a family movie night but now include a few friends & their kids. We have a potluck dinner (again, food!). Now I even have other kids requesting some of my dishes now
