TerraCycle’s mission is to recycle these items into affordable, eco-friendly products. They’re making “upcycling” trendy with their adorable backpacks, binders, and lunch boxes!
Want to get paid for your trash? Join one of their FREE Brigades and TerraCycle will pay you per piece for sending them your non-recyclable waste materials.

My friends call me the recycle queen. I’ve been known to take recyclables out of their trash can when I’m at their house for a function – it drives me crazy when they throw away something recyclable!

I joined the Terracycle community on Facebook. Cool stuff! Hope I win! We are BIG recyclers in my family. Our town doesn’t pick up our recycling, so we have to pack it up and take it ourselves every two weeks. We even take our neighbor’s recycling!!!!

We recycle everything we can, we have energy star appliances, we pass on clothes we aren’t using anymore (and accept clothes from my sister-in-law for our daughter), we use mostly rags instead of paper towels…. I am sure there is more but I can’t think of them right now! :)
