Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

With school back in session, more kids will be online than ever before doing homework, looking up information and playing educational games in addition to the hours spent on Facebook and emailing and instant messaging friends they would normally do. Keeping them safe as they browse is important, so you don’t have to worry about what websites they’re clicking through to and you can protect your computer as well from viruses and other internet threats.
F-Secure’s Internet Security 2011 features Browsing Protection to keep viruses, worms and spyware at bay, not allowing your children to click through to those sites. There are also advanced Parental Controls so that you can block sites with inappropriate content and keep your kids safe.
One lucky Deal Seeking Mom winner will win a Sony Vaio 10″ Netbook and 1-year of F-Secure’s Internet Security 2011!
To enter, visit the F-Secure website and then come back and tell me one thing you learned about staying safe online while you were there.
Every reader has four methods available to enter this contest. Choose one each of any combination of method one, two, three, or four for up to a total of 4 entries!!!

I never really thought about how dangerous some social networking sites are. It is always great to share special moments with family and friends online but you don’t realize how many people out there will do something bad with your info. I would also feel horrible if I were to have given someone a virus and had no idea I did. This software sounds great and very effective at it’s job.
Thank you for the chance to win!

I have to help with IT at work and security protection is very important. Be careful where you go on the web, and make sure that when ordering something and using your credit card it has https://

wow… “If you suspect your phone is missing you can remotely lock it or wipe the data so that your private text messages or pictures don’t end up in the wrong hands.” Sounds really useful

While I didn’t find anything I didn’t already know about online safety, I DID discover a wonderful new site (F-Secure) with current info and free tools for maintaining pc AND network security. Running the health check on my laptop provided peace of mind that I am, indeed, 100% secure; and after a keylogger, bootkit and complete restore 2x this year, this site confirmed my suspicions as to where I got it from: the vulnerability list showed MS finally realized their “hole” in Media Player. THx for a new bookmark in my pc protection folder.
