My four-year-old daughter took one look at the sparkly and colorful cover of Shoe-La-La! and proclaimed that we must sit down and read it immediately — we’ve now read it 462 times in the past two days…

Well, maybe that’s exaggerating a little, but she adored it from the start, and she’s probably asked me to read it at least that many times! That said, it really is a great children’s book, and I love that it inspires kids to get creative and think outside of the box.

“Shoes with zippers, Shoes with straps, Shoes with buckles, Shoes with taps”.

Prance from page to page in search of the perfect pair of party shoes. Girls of all ages will love to go on a shoe shopping expedition with these four friends, from “fuzzy boots for when it snows” to “ballerinas on our toes.” The girls try on every shoe in the store, but “eeny, meeny, my, oh, my [they] just don’t know which shoes to buy.” With some feathers and glitter, a little bit of glue, and a LOT of imagination, the girls come up with the best shoes of all!

    I’m going to sound incredibly boring, but my favorite shoes are the one’s that let me walk without pain, a pair of Black Etonic Motion Control walkers….major foot troubles make it the only pair I can wear without ending up in major pain.

    My favorite shoes are Privo Bangles. They are comfy and I can slip into them. They fit my narrow feet without the heel slipping and that is why they are my favorite. They are grey and green too!

    My favorite shoes are my Manolos that my hubby bought me 3 years ago-they are sexy and stylish and look good with lots of things. By the way-we got them on REALLY DEEP discount!
