My four-year-old daughter took one look at the sparkly and colorful cover of Shoe-La-La! and proclaimed that we must sit down and read it immediately — we’ve now read it 462 times in the past two days…

Well, maybe that’s exaggerating a little, but she adored it from the start, and she’s probably asked me to read it at least that many times! That said, it really is a great children’s book, and I love that it inspires kids to get creative and think outside of the box.

Meet four girls who love shoes: SHOE-LA-LA!

“Shoes with zippers, Shoes with straps, Shoes with buckles, Shoes with taps”.

Prance from page to page in search of the perfect pair of party shoes. Girls of all ages will love to go on a shoe shopping expedition with these four friends, from “fuzzy boots for when it snows” to “ballerinas on our toes.” The girls try on every shoe in the store, but “eeny, meeny, my, oh, my [they] just don’t know which shoes to buy.” With some feathers and glitter, a little bit of glue, and a LOT of imagination, the girls come up with the best shoes of all!

    2 years ago for Christmas, my husband gave me a pair of grey UGGs. They are the tall, grey, classic boots. They are super fuzzy on the inside & they make my feet feel like they are being hugged by a little piece of heaven!

    I must always have a pair of red sneakers. I recently was tempted to buy a back up pair of the shoes I already own, so that I won’t go without when these wear out.

    My favorite shoes are my comfee, slip on Uggs. Especially now that I am pregnant. If I don’t have to bend to put them on, they are the ones that I wear!

    My favorite shoes are my Seychelles heels! They are brown suede with a thick wooden heel, which makes them so comfortable to walk in. I love Seychelles!

    My favorite, not because of comfort, but because of color and style is a pair of Champion’s from Payless. Black, hot pink, deep/dark gray (charcoal). Been searching and found a (not so great) pic online.

      Other than these I only have my Skechers Shape Ups I won (white with silver/blue…love the comfort of them more though) and a couple pair of flip flops (one black, one dark gray). That’s all I have.

    My favorite pair of shoes are slip-on Sketchers tone-ups. I loved my first pair that is brown so much that I also bought a pair of them in Black!

    Maybe this is cheating, but my favorite pair of shoes are my snowboard boots! I know that whenever I put them on, I’m about to go do my favorite thing! :) They’re plain black – not too fancy – and fit like a glove!
