Join me every week for Win-It Wednesday. I’ll be posting 24-hour giveaways at 8 a.m., 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. ET to give you plenty of chances to win!

I’ve always envied those bloggers that faithfully post their menu plans each week. They seem so organized and as if they just have it all together. I imagine how nice it would be to know ahead of time what’s planned for dinner, but I’ve always struggled to implement menu planning into our schedule. Then I learned about Plan To Eat…
Plan To Eat is a meal planning website and so much more, and it’s really the perfect solution for someone as disorganized as myself in the kitchen. With Plan To Eat, you can easily compile your favorite recipes and then use them to create a weekly menu plan.
There are three main components to the Plan To Eat site: Recipe Book, Meal Planner, and Shopping List. One of my favorite features is the Recipe Book. I have literally hundreds of recipes that I’ve written down, torn out of magazines, or bookmarked in my browser. But while I have good intentions on making all of them, in actuality, I only try a few because of the sheer chaos.
The Plan To Eat Recipe Book allows me to compile all of these recipes in one location. I can tag them so I can find them easily in the future, and I can even upload photos of the finished product. Importing recipes from other websites is usually as simple as searching for the URL in the Add A Recipe view, or I can quickly add them with the bulk entry feature. Plus Plan To Eat makes it easy to share recipes with friends also using the service.
Meal Planning with Plan To Eat is simple once you have your recipes set up. Just drag and drop your selected recipe to the day you plan to prepare it. You can also save a group of menus as a plan that you can reuse in the future, and (I love this feature) you can add your plan to your Google Calendar. I don’t know what I’d do without my Google Calendar!
Plan To Eat goes above and beyond just meal planning. It will automatically generate a Shopping List based on your menu selections. Is one of your ingredients on sale at a local store in a given week? You can sort your list by store, making it easy to remember which ingredients should be purchased where.
I really feel like I’ve only just scratched the surface of what Plan To Eat can do, but why not check it out yourself? Plan To Eat is currently offering a FREE 30-day trial for their monthly menu planning site! Give it a try and let me know what you think.
