In ParaNorman, a small town comes under siege by zombies. Who can it call? Only misunderstood local boy Norman (Kodi Smit-McPhee), who is able to speak with the dead. In addition to the zombies, he’ll have to take on ghosts, witches and, worst, of all, grown-ups, to save his town from a centuries-old curse. But this young ghoul whisperer may find his paranormal activities pushed to their otherworldly limits.

ParaNorman is the new 3D stop-motion comedy thriller from animation company LAIKA, reteaming the company with Focus Features after the groundbreaking Academy Award-nominated Coraline. ParaNorman is, following Coraline, the company’s second stop-motion animated feature to be made in 3D. This film stars the voice talents of Kodi Smit-McPhee, Casey Affleck, Anna Kendrick, John Goodman, Leslie Mann, Jeff Garlin, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Elaine Strich, Tempestt Bledsoe, Bernard Hill, Alex Borstein, and Tucker Albrizzi.  ParaNorman is rated PG.

    It wouldn’t be a famous person, it would be my sister. She was murdered in 2007, and I would just ask her if she was ok. And tell her I love her and miss her every single day.

    I wouldnt care too talk to anyone famous… I would want to speak to my best friend who was killed in a car accident 3 years ago! I just want to make sure shes okay!

    If I could speak to anyone, I’d have a conversation with my sister. She passed away before I was old enough to know her. She was gone suddenly so there was no preparation. I’ll see her again one day, but it sure would be nice to talk to her. :)
