If you’re like me, you noticed a few weeks ago that when the St. Patrick’s Day green was put away, the first thing to hit the stores was Little Debbie spring-themed snacks on the end caps of the aisles and at the registers. You can almost tell the season just by watching the Little Debbie selection at the store, something that hasn’t changed since I was a child.

Right now on Little Debbie’s Facebook page, you can enter to win their Million Smile Mission for a chance to win the grand prize of a 16′ Airstream Sport Trailer or one of several other prizes, including Kodak Slice Cameras, Kodak ESP 7250 Printers, digital picture frames, Little Debbie Prize Packs and more!

Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom winners will each receive a Little Debbie prize pack that includes:

  • 2 boxes of Cloud Cakes
  • 2 boxes of Spring Snacks

To enter, tell me one memory involving snack cakes from when you were a kid or as an adult if you didn’t have them as a child. Did your mom pack them in your lunch box? Were they a special treat reserved for road trips? Did you eat your first snack cake in college when you were on your own?

    My husband is a submarine officer, and he remembers his zebra cakes from childhood and always would take them in his lunch. On a submarine they don’t have alot of space to bring personal stuff. So halfway through there deployment us wives can send our husbands a “halfway box” The box I sent my husband’s was filled with Zebra cakes. He refused to share with anyone. After that I always sent whichever seasonal cake was available. Next year he takes command of a sub, I’m hoping to send them out to the whole crew next time.

    My mom has bought them for years and still does so I have eaten the for a long time. I love Zebra Cakes and Oatmeal Pies.

    I have loved Little Debbie snacks for years. I do remember eating nutter butter bars and drinking milk during HIT in high school…what a great time and memory. Thanks for helping me remember that great time.

    My father would pack our lunches every morning because our mother went to work early. He would put Little Debbie snacks in them every day. My favorite were Swiss Cake rolls.

    My mom rarely bought “fun” stuff like this, so when she did break down and give in to my begging for Little Debbies, it was a huge deal! I cherished every single bite of Little Debbies growing up, cause I didn’t know when I would get another. :)
