If you’re like me, you noticed a few weeks ago that when the St. Patrick’s Day green was put away, the first thing to hit the stores was Little Debbie spring-themed snacks on the end caps of the aisles and at the registers. You can almost tell the season just by watching the Little Debbie selection at the store, something that hasn’t changed since I was a child.

Right now on Little Debbie’s Facebook page, you can enter to win their Million Smile Mission for a chance to win the grand prize of a 16′ Airstream Sport Trailer or one of several other prizes, including Kodak Slice Cameras, Kodak ESP 7250 Printers, digital picture frames, Little Debbie Prize Packs and more!

Ten lucky Deal Seeking Mom winners will each receive a Little Debbie prize pack that includes:

  • 2 boxes of Cloud Cakes
  • 2 boxes of Spring Snacks

To enter, tell me one memory involving snack cakes from when you were a kid or as an adult if you didn’t have them as a child. Did your mom pack them in your lunch box? Were they a special treat reserved for road trips? Did you eat your first snack cake in college when you were on your own?

    My daughter’s name is Deborah, but everyone called her Debbie. I usually packed one package of Little Debbie cakes in her lunch each day. Whenever I see Little Debbie products, it makes me think of Debbie’s PE teacher in grade school who always called her, “Little Debbie Cakes.” It was a name that stuck for a long time.

    When I was a little girl my parents got these for after school snacks! =-] Now that I’m older and a mom of three, I always have Debbie snacks in the snack cabinet for them! They absolutely LOVE them!!

    When my 2 sisters and I were little, my Mom began buying us Little Debbie treats….and they were indeed a treat since we didn’t have sweets that often. Since we grew up with them, eating a Little Debbie always takes me back to being a little girl. : )

    I love Zebra Cakes, and I usually have one or two when we travel on long trips. It’s great and makes the time go by a little faster and tastier!

    When I was in college my roommate and I LOVED Nutty Bars. Once when we were really broke we dug all through our dorm room for every penny we could find to go buy Nutty Bars. Perfect for all night study sessions.

    Little Debbies were rare in our home but when we got them We Loved them. My parents liked them alot and would be a little greedy with them. But now I buy them all the time for my kids

    My first Little Debbie was an apple-filled treat of some kind, like a turnover. Do you know I haven’t had one of those since? I automatically gravitate to the chocolate offerings, but I do need to look for the apple-filled!!!
